I am current on my vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. 3 words that describe me: Vocal, Playful, Affectionate Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: I'm the most precious little boy in the world! Staff and volunteers can't get over my adorable ears. I may be small but I am mighty with a huge personality! Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 4 or 5/10 Housetraining Status: I am a puppy so I am working on it. I should do well in a home: I should do well in a home with children of all ages given proper supervision. I should do well with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. I did well with the cats in my foster home. My favorite activities are: I love chasing my brother Wendall, getting affection from humans, and playing with all kinds of toys! Things I need work on are: I am a puppy so I will need to work on my housetraining, basic commands, and leash walking. Don’t let his street life fool you, he hasn’t gotten hard at all. Gravy loves to be next to people; he also enjoys playing with other dogs, chewing on yummy bones, and making the cutest little noises. He’s kind of a beggar when food is around but who can say no to that cute little face. Gravy is doing really good at Potty Training on a pad or outside when the snow isn’t as tall as him. He is also good at walking on a leash. Gravy is short and stout. Gravy says you can call him “young gravy”… lol. Groot 🐾 Groot is a 6-year-old Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher mix weighing about 13 pounds. This little black and tan guy is neutered and ready to find a forever home where he can finally settle in. Groot is perfectly kennel trained and does well in the house, though like any dog he will need a little time to adjust to a new environment. He can be a bit shy around new people and kids at first, but once he feels safe his sweet personality really shines. After being surrendered to a shelter in Texas, Groot made the trip to Wisconsin for a better chance at finding the loving home he deserves. He’s a gentle, very submissive dog who does well with other dogs and should be fine around cats. Groot would make a wonderful lap-dog companion for someone looking for a loyal little buddy to relax with. One thing he’s still getting used to?
