Story
Luna is a shy but sweet soul who’s looking for her forever family. She was surrendered by her previous owners because they had to move, and now she’s ready for a fresh start. Luna may be a bit reserved when meeting new people, but with time and patience, she’ll show you the loving and loyal companion she truly is. Luna would do best as the only pet in the home, as she doesn’t get along with other dogs. She has lived with children before and is gentle with them, though she may need some time to adjust to her new family and surroundings. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://www.sftsrescue.org/adoptable-dogs

Story
Scooby ended up at our partner in Winnebago after his owner could no longer care for him. He’s a sweet, friendly dog who gets along well with other dogs and kids, making him a great addition to any family. Despite his snaggly teeth that might look a little intimidating at first, Scooby is a big softie at heart – loving, playful, and ready to shower you with affection. Scooby is looking for a new family who will give him the love and care he deserves. If you're ready to welcome this sweet boy into your home and show him the love he's been waiting for, he’s ready to be your loyal companion! All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Story
Cosmos is a 9 month old chiweenie mix. He is a very shy at first and likes to be independent, but when he's ready to calm down he loves to snuggle up with the other dogs right by his foster mommas legs. He loves to play with toys and is very food motivated! He does well with other dogs, is a little nervous around young kids, but with time, patience, and lots of yummy treats he will make a great new addition to someone's family. Will probably do best with another confident dog to help show him things are ok, and a fenced yard or penned area until he's comfortable going in and out of the house. Working on leash, crate, & potty training. He is being fostered in Deerfield, WI taking applications now at our website: BeMyFurEvers.com/adopt ##2222981##

Story
Tillie is a very sweet, 9 lb. uniquely-colored brindle Chihuahua. She is four years old, healthy, and fully vetted. Tillie does fine with other dogs (although she doesn’t like sharing her food or treats with them). As a puppy, we think she was abused so she is a bit timid (she occasionally does a little submissive peeing). She is mostly house trained--but might have an occasional accident on her pee pad. Tillie would prefer not to be a latchkey dog, so someone who works from home or is retired would be the perfect match for her. She would be a wonderful dog for a lonely older person who needs a lap warmer and someone to snuggle with and cuddle in bed at night. If you think you would be a good match for Tillie (and vice-versa) please e-mail us at: sylvialovesme@gmail.com and tell us about yourself, your other family members, your daily schedule, if you have other pets, if you have a safely fenced yard, etc. Then, if we feel she might be the right dog for you, we will send you an adoption application (and after you fill it out and return it, we will review it and then schedule a meet-and-greet. (Tillie is temporarily being fostered in Columbus, Wi which is about 20 miles northeast of Madison Wi)

Story
Meet Lily! Age: senior Weight: 10 pounds (I'm just an itty bitty!) Good with: adults House trained: I use potty pads, but still have accidents sometimes. I'm working on being the best girl I can! Crate trained: in my foster home I am gated in the kitchen if my foster parents go away. I do love my crate, it is my safe space! Special needs: I can't hear a dang thing from a lifetime of chronic ear infections, and my ticker isn't that great, so I can't have some procedures that are recommended. Let me give you a little back story about how I came into rescue. I was found left alone after my owner passed away. I was very scared and hungry! I'm working on trusting that people want the best for me. Lily is completely deaf, but she doesn't let it get her down! She loves her bed, her person, and food. She loves food so much that she prefers to eat alone. When I bring her meals, she does a little dance and twirl before I put it down. She co exists well with all the dogs in the house, big and small. She gets a little bossy with the cats when it's close to meal times, but other than that she gets along with them. When it's warm enough out she loves to sniff around the yard with the other dogs, and she loves warm weather walkies. She takes a bit to warm up, but once she does she's a pleasant little companion. She even likes to play! She'll whip around a toy and even chase it if you toss it. When I tuck her into bed at night she likes to play with me with the blanket before she settles down in her little blanket nest (the very best place for a little girl to sleep!) She's a spunky little girl for sure! She uses pee pads most of the time, especially when it's cold out. Lily is on 2 different kinds of medications for her 6/6 heart murmur.. Because of this she gets winded very quickly when she plays or exerts herself in any other way. With enough time to settle and slow intros, she is a spunky and loving little cutie! No small children, as she does not like to be touched unless she really knows you. *Lily is being fostered in New Glarus, WI.
