Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  Fiona came from a shelter to us half bald.  She appeared to have lived her life infested with fleas and fed a poor diet.  With a grain free, chicken free diet and keeping flea medication on her, all of her fur has come back in nicely.   She's come out of her shell now that she's feeling healthy and is a sweet, delightful little girl.  She even plays with some other dogs now, just not the rambunctious, in her face personalities.  She is reserved when meeting new people though so someone just needs to give her a chance to acclimate to them and you'll have a wonderful companion.  We have discovered that she doesn't like some men, not all but some.  After not doing well with men and children in the past while with us, she was great at the last event we took her to with both the men and kids that wanted to engage with her.  Hopefully she's just blossoming now that she feels healthy and safe?  We're really not sure.   She's got the look of a chi x pom cross but may be just a mix with one or the other.  Who can keep her healthy and give her a loved rest of her life? Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 5, 2025, 3:32 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  This girl was in labor when we got her to us from a shelter (stray impound) so we have no history on her and have gotten to know her as she's weaned off of her role as Mama.  She's very loving to her person/people, a bit shy with strangers right at first is all.  The way to her heart is food!  A few treats and she's your best friend!  She loves cuddle time.  She is an escape artist so needs a secure fence to keep her safe.  She is also pretty athletic and can get on surfaces in search of food left out.  She's doing great with house training with regular outings.   Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 22, 2025, 2:12 pm

Before completing our adoption application, please consider the following: Is someone home to raise and train a puppy? Do you have a securely fenced yard for the puppy? Can you give a puppy a 15ish year commitment? This puppy was born in rescue a couple hours after getting Mama sprung from a shelter.  She was a stray so we have no idea what the Daddy(s) were.  They're truly small breed, heinz 57 mixes. Pikachu is the pup that has the same coloring as his Mama and the biggest puppy.  He is the most cuddly of the pups and has a calm, lovable demeanor. Puppies that are not old enough to have received all 3 puppy DHPP vaccines will not be adopted to anyone in apartment or condo residents as they are not protected against parvo or distemper until they've received all 3 vaccines. Our puppies are or will be neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated age appropriate (they will need additional vaccines), de-wormed and parasite treated/prevented throughout their time with CoH as a foster puppy.   Vaccine Protocol is as follows: DHPP series of 3 are needed and puppies are not protected against parvo or distemper until they're received ALL 3 vaccines.
