Story
Hi I’m Carlton  just 5 mo old  Chihuahua mix but real smart. I’m a little guy, 4 lb of  energy . I’m up-to-date on my shots, neutered and microchipped. My foster brother and sisters sometime can’t keep up so i play with my toys. I’m a smart boy already am paper trained . And know i need to potty outside too. I love other dogs to play with . But like I say I can play by myself  too. I like birds, cats and other animals. When we were at the park I  raced a rabbit and  he won the race. Like I said, I’m a little guy so I have a lot of cute sweaters to keep me warm and my foster mommy always suits me up before we go out. When I’m out and meet new people, they all say I’m a pretty cute guy. But even though I'm cute, I need to be trained also and want a chance to do that with you so I must be signed up for basic obediance classes. I’m ready for my new home and will pack up my toys and my favorite blanket to come live with you so please fill out a Statement of Interest for me at https://alternativehumanesociety.com/statement-of-interest-dog/  Thanks! ##2225780##

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Scrappy! He is a 5-year-old, 10lb Chihuahua looking for his forever home! Scrappy is super sweet and ready to be someone’s next cuddle buddy! He loves being held and would be more content spending his days in his persons arms or on their lap. Scrappy will make a great little walking companion and adventure buddy. He has done great with other dogs in our care and would be a wonderful additional dog to a home. He would also be fine as an only dog, soaking up all the love and attention! Scrappy is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.

Story
Meet Lily, a two year old Chihuahua mix who weighs in at around ten pounds.Lily was very scared when she came to us, she is slowly starting to warm up to staff that cares for her but it is slow-going. Her ideal home would be one where she can take her time and slowly open up to her person/people. We recommend leash walking her at first when she goes outside for potty incase she gets scared so she doesn’t run away or get hard to catch. Right now we think she would do best in a home with no young kids but that could easily change once she is comfortable and gets some socializing. This pet is available for adoption on 11/21/2024 at 11:49 AM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.  If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854.Did you know YHS lets local community members FOSTER TO ADOPT??That’s where you and the pet make sure you’re a good fit for one another by having a fun sleepover prior to finalizing your adoption. Story
This cutie is Oscar. He is currently 3 pounds, 5 months old, and we think they may be a Chihuahua mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves his life as well as the life of another in its place. Fall in love here: https://youtu.be/aVJObsV9MjI?feature=shared Oscar is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He loves to play with and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! Oscar is still young so they will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/66f30ef434cb444ebd098809 Please email priya@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1,000.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED: There’s a new man in town, and we call him: Old Man Fergus. Okay, Fergus isn’t that old actually – he’s an 11-year-old, Chihuahua with plenty of life left in him. He came to us searching for the peaceful life after a rough & tumble history in the wild west of California. So, we’re going to help him find the peace he deserves! Fergus isn’t the prettiest dog. Well, except his face. His sweet face is the stuff of angels, so peaceful and beautiful. You could be having a rotten day, but when you rest your eyes on his peaceful visage, all your irritation will melt away and all will be right with the world again. The rest of him has seen better days. (If you’re an older person, we know you can relate.) As is sometimes seen with senior dogs, his eyes are a little cloudy, but he can still see okay, and he can definitely hear fine. He was given a preliminary exam by a vet when he arrived at the vet in CA and they found he has several cutaneous warts/skin tags but the vet feels that they are unlikely to be cancerous. Sometimes he favors his rear right left but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying walks. Sadly, it looks as though no one ever cared enough to housetrain him, but he will willingly do his business outside when given the chance. He’s also highly motivated by treats, so he is coming along with house training in his foster home! What’s not lacking in any way is his sweet personality. He is unbelievably trusting and loving; and he comes alive when you show him one of those little squeaky tennis balls. We’re positive he was a champion baller back in the day! He will happily gnaw on his squeaky ball or pounce after it if you throw it gently. Little squeaky tennis balls bring him great joy. Speaking of great joy, his other favorite thing is: you. He happily follows his person around from room to room and loves cuddling and snoozing. Fergus is a super easy dog – he snoozes, explores outside, snoozes some more, happily goes out on walks, and enjoys being a passenger on errands, especially to all the coffee/bank/pharmacy drive-thru’s that hand out pup cups or dog bones. Despite his long and colorful past, he is grateful for snuggles, blankets, dog beds, the warm sun, and kindness. But especially squeaky balls. Fergus is fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $300.
