Story
Meet Lila!! Lila was rescued from abusive owner by our Dorothy Rescue. She is a sweet a smart Jindo mix girl who wants to be loved :) Behaviours from foster home : Lila is such a sweetheart who is smart and loves her hoomans! She is a bit timid and shy at first time. She would be appreciate it, if you could give her some time get used to her new family and new environment :) She is good with other doggie friends. She also catches other dog's signal quickly, so she won't bother the other dog if they don't want to hang out. She is that smart ;) She is good with adults and kids, as well. Though, she'd like your slow and gentle approach to her. Please give her some time to get used to you and wait for her to feel comfortable and let her come to you :) She has good walking manner, as well. She absolutely loves walking! and She does her business only outside. She isn't a big barker and she has no separation anxiety. She is also crate trained, and she's never showed aggressive behavior. Also, she doesn't get carsick, so- you can enjoy car drive with her :D Lila may be a bit shy and timid at first time, but she is such a sweetheart and she is very gentle and loving~ Would you be her loving pawrents? :) Allergy/health issues : She hasn't showed any allergy issue. She does not have any health issue. But, sadly.. She lost her right hind leg because of her abusive previous owner... There were a number of dangerous moments during her treatment, but she stayed strong and she fought for her life. Now, she is a healthy and happy dog who loves running around and being loved. We are very proud of her!!! She is not only beautiful but also very strong! :) *Please send all inquiries to @everlove8282. *Please submit your applications through the application form on our Instagram profile! Story
Meet Toto! He is a little shy and a sweet boy who wants to be loved :) Behaviours from the foster mom : Toto loves doggie friends, but he is a bit shy. He wags his tail cheerfully and waits for other dogs to come to him first. Toto hasn't met any cat friends yet, so we don't know how he would react to them. Toto loves kids and is very comfortable around them. He seems to be more comfortable with female adults than with males. He gets scared by sudden, big movements or loud noises, so please give him some time to adjust to a new environment, especially at the beginning. :) He is good at bathing and brushing, but he is afraid of the dryer, so his foster mom is trying to help him feel more comfortable with it. He has great manners on his walks, though he sometimes gets scared by loud noises or shadows, so please make sure he is on a leash and be cautious during walks. He only does his business outside. He is not a big barker, but he sometimes barks when he hears noises from outside. He hasn't shown any signs of separation anxiety, and he doesn’t feel carsick during drives. He wasn't specifically kennel trained, but he goes into his kennel when he is told to. He is a smart boy. ;) He hasn't shown any aggressive behavior, but he sometimes nibbles when he gets scared or startled, so please don’t scare him suddenly. Toto is a sweet boy who will shine with some time in a new family. Would you be this sweet boy's loving family? :D Allergy/health issues: Toto's foster mom said that he might have an allergy to salmon. Toto had a heartworm issue when he was rescued, but he is all cured now, and he's been given heartworm and flea/tick prevention medication every month since then. He does not have any health issues at present. *Please send all inquiries to @everlove8282. *Please submit your applications through the application form on our Instagram profile! Our team will carefully consider each of your applications to find the perfect forever homes for our dogs. *As all of our dogs are currently in South Korea, there will be an adoption fee of 700USD + customs fee (if applicable) for each dog.

Story
Daphne our dear sweet girl is a long hair Chihuahua - Pekinese mix ready for a home and family to call her own! Initially, Daphne displayed fear aggressive behavior due to being undersocialized as a Covid puppy - who likely lived with only one person and didn't get much interaction with the outside world or with strangers She was also very likely abused as she has displayed ducking behavior from hands and feet in some instances. HOWEVER, after several months in our board members home, Daphne has truly turned a corner when it comes to her fear. She will now greet seated guests well, seeking pets and has done extremely well going into new homes and around other dogs. It will take someone with patience to show her she is in a safe space with safe people to win her full trust, but she is so different than the dog that came into our rescue! We are really proud of her and how well she is doing now! In a new home, Daphne will still need time to decompress without pressure and work with her so she can show how she will blossom into the loving, fun and playful sweetheart she has shown us she can be with her accepted people. Daphne will be adopted to ADULT ONLY homes - due to her fear. She is great with other dogs after proper introduction and taking it slow, but she will require a home with Dog savvy confident cats, she will chase, but it does appear it is out of curiosity as opposed to wanting to attack. Daphne originally came to us thru our partners at Regional Animal Services of King County due to the overcrowding of too many abandoned animals coming into the shelter. Under our care Daphne has been Spayed, had a complete Dental, along with Microchip and updated vaccinations, she is 100% healthy and ready for her forever home!! Daphne has a sponsored adoption fee for a $500 discount, her adoption fee is only $150! If you're looking for a loving companion who enjoys both cuddle time and playtime, Daphne can be that dog, with a heart full of love and a playful spirit, this affectionate little lady is not only great on a leash but also loves to play fetch and has a special talent for finding the squeaker in her toys. She's ready to bring joy, laughter, and endless love to her new people.

Story
At 4 lbs and only a year old, little Pascal is making himself at home and his presence known here in the PNW. Our little man was found as a stray from the streets of L.A. and was in the shelter waiting to be saved! He is part of our first group of rescues to "clear the shelters" to make room for dogs of the L.A. fires that are seeking refuge while their families are displaced. Pascal is settling in great at his foster home, and doing so well with the resident dogs and young kids already. A lot of fun attitude in this little package. Check out that smile! It looks like he has all the secrets! Pascal is a tiny Chihuahua who likes to snuggle into his sweaters, be carried in a sling or sit on the sofa in a warm blanket with you. Pascal is neutered and will receive his final vaccines as a part of his adoption donation. He will be 100% ready to go home with his forever family. Is it yours?

Story
Pancake is a darling Chi mix girl who came with us from Los Angeles on our "Clear the Shelters" Transport to help make space for wildfire victims and lost pets in LA. The shelter staff named her Pancake as her owner surrendered her, she just shrank to the back of the kennel shaking and just "pancaked" to the floor in fear. We believe Pancake to be middle aged approximately 8-10 years old which means she still has many good years ahead of her! In just a couple days at her fosters, she has already opened up, and is seeking closeness, and staying close to her foster, watching her move around the house. She is allowing pets and going outside for potty breaks! It is huge progress. She even has been playing with a squeeky toy, and is pretty laid back, not a yappy dog. Pancake will need some time to trust people again and learn to be a treasured pet, but she will get there with the help of her amazing fosters! We aren't sure exactly what mix Pancake is - or how old she is, but we know she's a cutie with a lot to offer her future family! She will see our vet for a spay and a full dental which are included in her adoption donation.

Story
Welcome Bandit to CCPAL Rescue. Bandit is an Apple Head Chihuahua pup. He is about 2 years old. He weighs about 6 pounds. He likes being held and is a little shy. This boy had a very terrible person for his owner. She was a sexual deviant and he and the other dogs in this house were abused by this person. A good Samaritan stepped in and took all the dogs. Bandit was with foster care until she called CCPAL and we took them into the Rescue. He is a little shy and when he is scared, wants to retreat. He has a nice short coat and the loyalty of the Chihuahua breed. He is good with other dogs and despite his past, he is very loving. He and the others in this group really are doing well and are responding to loving and very normal attention at the Rescue. They are fitting in well with routines and the schedules at the Rescue. The dogs will get daily cuddles and assurance that people are nice and most are very normal. Bandit would be great in a quieter home. I would say a retired couple or a single person wanting a rather quiet and low energy companion animal. He will be getting his neuter soon and he has already gotten his toenails clipped and vaccinations. None of these dogs are fully potty trained but we will be working on really good schedules and crate training at the Rescue. He is currently in Texas at the CCPAL Rescue. His adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200. He could be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. . Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Bebe is a lovely dog who was rescued from the streets after giving birth to her adorable puppies. Although she was shy at first, she quickly warms up to new friends, especially when treats are involved! She's great with children under 13, and you can easily carry her without any fuss. Bebe enjoys saying hello to other dogs, but she's more inclined to play with those who match her gentle energy level. She prefers calm, well-mannered companions over hyperactive pups. Having lived with cats for about eight months, Bebe is perfectly comfortable around them and doesn't mind their presence at all. With a moderate energy level, she loves going for walks and is a pro on the leash. After her strolls, she's happy to curl up and snooze the day away. Bebe is non-aggressive with her food and toys, and if she needs something, she'll simply bark to let you know. She's also great in a crate during car rides and knows how to hop in and out of vehicles, as long as they're not too high for her. If you're looking for a sweet, gentle companion, Bebe would love to meet you! ##2260954##

Story
Quick Facts  Name: Seul-Ah Age: Approximately 12 years old Gender: Female Neutered/Sprayed: Yes Breed: Long-haired Chihuahua Mix Color: Brown Weight: Around 5 kg (fluctuates slightly) Health History I’m in great health, thanks to the wonderful care I’ve received. Heartworm: Tested negative on April 27, 2024. Surgeries: Neutered on October 22, 2024. Had surgery to correct patellar luxation in both knees (Grade 3), and now I can walk comfortably and happily. Dental Care: I’ve had a full dental cleaning and, though I had most of my teeth removed, it hasn’t slowed me down—I’m a pro at eating soft food! My Story I’m a gentle soul who enjoys the quieter side of life. At first, I might seem a little shy, but give me time and patience, and you’ll discover my affectionate side. I love to hop up on my hind legs and give a little dance when I’m excited to see you—it’s my special way of saying hello! On My Walks‍ I also like gentle walks in quiet areas. Busy streets can be a bit overwhelming for me, but in a serene setting, I enjoy exploring at my own pace. Sometimes loud noises or sudden movements startle me, but I feel safe when I’m with someone I trust. Life at Home I’m a polite housemate who’s already house-trained. Whether it’s a pad indoors or a nice spot outdoors, I’ve got my potty habits down. I ride quietly in a kennel and don’t mind relaxing there when needed. I might be a little protective of my meals if another dog is around—it’s just my way of saying, “This is mine!” But with humans, I’m more than happy to share and show no guarding behaviors. What Makes Me Special What makes me truly special is my quiet resilience and elegant demeanor. I’m not overly demanding for attention, but I’ll always let you know when I’m happy to see you with my signature little hop. I’m the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a calm and gentle presence. My Ideal Home I’m looking for a peaceful and loving home that matches my mellow personality. Here’s what I dream of:                •             A Quiet Environment: A serene household without too much hustle and bustle.                •             A Patient Family: Someone who understands that I need a little time to feel safe and loved.                •             Companionship: Whether it’s a calm doggy sibling or a human who enjoys relaxing days, I thrive with gentle company. Last Message If you’re searching for a sweet, soulful companion to share quiet moments with, I’d love to meet you. Let’s write the next chapter of our story together—I’m ready to be part of your world. ##2281987##
