Story
Daisy is a rescue from Mexico and was abandoned at a school where she was tied up most of the time. She has been waiting to come here for many months and her time has finally come and she will arrive here early next month. She is super super friendly and needs a loving home where she can feel safe. Some of the kids at the school weren’t very nice to her but you wouldn’t be able to tell because she doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She is so deserving. Please call us if you’re interested in adopting her. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ ADOPTION PENDING

Story
Baked Bean (yes, just one bean), our 7 pound 12 year old chihuahua, understands that being an introvert is a strength. Like other introverts, Baked Bean mostly keeps his thoughts to himself (we're pretty sure they are deep though). He's more of a wall -flower than a party animal. And he's very good at tucking himself into bed when he's done socializing. As fellow go-to-bed-at -9 people, we get Baked Bean. And we're sure there's a family out there who gets him too. Baked Bean came to us from our local shelter. We were asked to help because the staff had heard a murmur. We worked up Baked Bean's heart and discovered, that at this point, his murmur is not causing any issues. Like a lot of small senior dogs, the murmur will continue to be something to monitor. In case it wasn't obvious from his photo, Baked Bean has just one tooth. But it's a very white clean tooth! He eats softened food just fine. Baked Bean is friendly, but not clingy. He enjoys attention and pets but asks not to be picked up (not aggressive at all, just wiggly). Because of that, we recommend older kids in his forever home. Baked Bean is good with other dogs and we suspect he would ignore cats as much as they would ignore him. Baked Bean doesn't love walking on a leash so would do best with a safe place to potty. He is crate trained, quiet and very polite in the house. He hasn't had a single accident in foster and is easy to take care of (especially since his favorite thing is napping. Same, Baked Bean, same). Baked Bean is microchipped and current on his flea and heartworm preventatives. Have room on the couch for a tiny introvert? Apply to adopt at www.stumptownstrays.org
