Story
Meet Mocha — a gentle soul with a heart full of love. &#226&#152&#149 At 14 years young, Mocha has already lived quite a life. She came to us from an overcrowded home in New Mexico, where she was part of a court seizure. Despite her past, Mocha’s spirit remains as warm and comforting as her name suggests. Now in Utah, she’s ready to spend her golden years surrounded by kindness and peace. Mocha is the perfect companion for a calm home — she gets along beautifully with other dogs and loves nothing more than quiet moments, gentle pets, and a cozy spot to nap beside you. Mocha does have some hearing loss, so she’ll need a family with patience and understanding — someone who will give her the time and tenderness she deserves as she adjusts to her new surroundings. Though she’s a senior, her heart is young, and her capacity for love is endless. At Mountain Mamas, we know she’ll never be forgotten — but we also know her forever family is out there, ready to give her the soft landing she so deeply deserves. If you have room in your heart for a sweet, seasoned soul, Mocha is waiting patiently to meet you.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2025, 3:02 pm

Story
Meet Minnie May! 🐾💖 This adorable 8-pound bundle of love is a scruffy Chihuahua mix with a heart as big as her personality. Minnie is the total package — sweet, playful, kind, and full of charm. She adores people, snuggles like a pro, and has the cutest case of the zoomies you've ever seen! Minnie lives in a happy home with other small dogs and gets along great with her furry housemates. She’s kid-friendly and used to family life, making her an easy fit into most homes. Whether she's basking in the sun in the yard or curled up in your lap soaking up all the love, Minnie brings joy wherever she goes. She loves car rides, playing with other dogs, and being around her humans. With her outgoing personality and gentle nature, she’s the perfect mix of playful and calm. Minnie May would thrive in a home with a yard to explore — but at the end of the day, she’s a lap dog through and through. If you’re looking for a loving companion who’s equal parts fun and snuggly, Minnie May is ready to steal your heart. 💕 Application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/685c610cac7e13b3500db0b7 Questions? Story
Meet Joe Cool 🕶️🐾 This charming chihuahua mix lives up to his name—Joe Cool has that effortlessly chill vibe, like he’s been the smoothest pup on the block his whole life. His foster gave him the name because he’s just that relaxed and confident… until you bring out the back scratches. Then you’ll see his goofy side light up as he happily tells you just how much he loves the attention! Joe’s the perfect mix of laid-back and playful. He enjoys his toys, adores soft spots to lounge, and will happily come sit right next to you just to soak in your love (and maybe fish for more of those glorious scratches). His soft coat and sweet eyes only add to his “cutest boy” status—and yes, he knows it. He’s doing great walking on leash and is picking it up fast, so he’ll be your little shadow on strolls around the neighborhood in no time. Joe is dog-friendly and could fit into many home types: a calm family, a single person, or older adults. He just asks for patience and a little space to open up—once he does, his happy, confident personality shines through. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate little sidekick who’s cool with cuddles and ready for love, Joe Cool just might be your guy. Story
Meet Stark! 🐾 This sweet little guy is a Chihuahua and Jack Russell mix — or at least that’s our best guess! Like many rescues, Stark's exact background is a bit of a mystery, but one thing is certain: he’s full of heart. Stark can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but give him a little time, some gentle cuddles, and a chance to play, and he’ll warm right up. He’s currently living in a foster home with cats and would do just fine with feline companions in his forever home. He’s also open to sharing his space with other small dogs — or he’d be just as happy being your one and only. Playful and affectionate, Stark loves his toys and will trot over when he’s ready for some pets. He walks nicely on a leash and would enjoy joining you for some leisurely strolls. And let’s not forget his best feature: a big, silly, striking smile that’s guaranteed to steal your heart. Crate trained and potty trained, he's already 100% good boy. He even likes to go into his crate for naps on his own. He's mostly a chill boy who loves to nap, but he does still enjoy a good walk or play session. Did you notice the shaved fur in the photos? He had to have his tail partially amputated, but he's healthy and happy, and ready for his forever home. If you’re looking for a little buddy who just needs a bit of love and patience to shine, Stark might be your perfect match. 💛 Application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6830ae072f41d7ea4f009069 Questions?
