This is Buddy, and he can't wait to be yours! Buddy is a sweet young Chihuahua mix that started life off as a feral, until he was caught by a sweet and loving foster. Buddy got the good life after that! Spoiled with treats and given so much love he's developed into a great dog. He's a very friendly boy and does great with pretty much everyone. He would do best in a household with an active family. Buddy does tend to bark at smaller animals so he would do best in a household that doesn't have farm animals or other small pets. Dogs and cats he is fine with, though he has not had much experience with cats. Buddy would do well paired with another calm and confident dog. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

My story is a typical one, at least in South Texas :( I was found pregnant, like REALLY pregnant and all alone! BUT, when my rescuer saved me she all saved my precious (and naughty) puppies!!! Here is what my foster mom has to say about me.... "Alana is sweet as can be. She is like Velcro and likes to be by your side at all times. She uses the doggy door to go outside to potty. She gets along great with dogs her size but will bark at our Great Dane so not sure if it’s a size thing. She is afraid of our cats and just stays away from them. She is over with nursing her babies and will get spayed soon. She’s not a big barker and does okay in a kennel but she has free roam of the house. Looking for the cream of the crop when adopting a chihuahua?? Alana breaks ALL the rules for chis, in a great way!" So, as you can see, I have a fan club!! Wanna be part of the club???
