He absolutely loves his toys and will keep you entertained with his silly antics and bursts of zoomies. This little guy is great with kids and loves being around people. He’d do well in a family home, with adults, or as the perfect sidekick for a singleton. He’s a pro on the leash and would be just as happy in an apartment as he would in a house. Nacho Cheese would love a home with other small dog buddies to hang with, but he’s also happy to be adopted solo if he’s got plenty of attention and playtime. He could even be adopted with his brother for double the fun! Story
Meet Sandy Cheeks! This sweet girl is a gentle soul. She is an angel, getting along well with her foster siblings- feline & canine! She loves rubbed toys, especially her rubber ball. She is learning fetch, she loves to get the ball, and she will let you take it from her. Her favorite activity is hanging outside, stopping to sniff the roses, listen to the birds chirp, and watching cars pass by. We can see her hanging out on the porch watching her favorite people play in the backyard, garden, or have a backyard BBQ! Could her favorite people be you & your family? Watch Sandy here: https://youtu.be/m13MltGP2z8?si=ZoSG78T1rerDcoQd Her foster says one of the funniest things about her is the zoomies she gets in the backyard. She tucks her tail and goes flying! She plays with her foster sibling, who is a 45lb male. She tends to ignore her kitty siblings, which is a good thing! Sandy has even done really well around the neighborhood kiddos— ages 6 & 8! Sandy sleeps in her crate at night like a champ. She also eats in her crate! Her favorite toys are the ones that make crinkle sounds fun enough! Tug-of-war is the game of choice for Sandy right now. She loves to sunbathe when she’s not zooming or sniffing around in the yard. Sandy is a big snuggle bug and would snuggle all day if you let her. Sandy is still a little nervous about new people and guests, but she just keeps to herself, and has never had a negative encounter. Just give her some time to warm up and see her beautiful personality bloom! Adopt Sandy here: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/67ceed476baa771127012f28 Questions? Reach out to: kathleen@threelittlepittiesrescue.org We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience! The adoption fee is _____ and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Story
Sugar was given to us out of an emergency. She belonged to my husband’s mom, who recently passed away from cancer. She has had trouble adjusting to our home. We have a 4 month old baby and she isn’t allowed on the carpet or furniture. She isn’t used to be left alone and loves cuddles but unfortunately we don’t have the time. Most of the time I find her in the garage sleeping. It’s just a really sad situation. Sugar needs someone who will give her 100% of their time. She is great with other animals and loves the outdoors, but will happily snuggle on your lap. Sugar is roughly 12 years of age. She has had a couple accidents in the house but with persistence I got her to stop. She is really unsure of kids which makes me nervous as a mom. I would hate to see sugar put down or in a shelter if I can avoid the situation. Please reach out. She is in desperate need of a home.

Story
Meet Ranger – Your Fun and Devoted Little Buddy! Ranger is an affectionate and sweet Chihuahua mix with a unique cattle dog-like coat and a loyal soul. He may be a little shy at first, but once he trusts you, he’ll form a deep bond and be your most loyal companion. Ranger is a silly little guy, full of personality and fun. He loves seeking comfort from his person and won’t hesitate to jump into your arms for hugs. He will also follow you everywhere you go, enjoying life in your shadow. Ranger loves other dogs and would really thrive in a home with another playful dog, or at least with regular doggy playdates. While he hasn't lived with cats in our care, he did pass his cat test with ease. We think he could do well in a home with cats. He has also met a human baby and did well, so he might do well in a home with kids, but more testing is needed to be sure. He’d be a great match for a singleton or active older adult looking for a devoted furry friend. Due to his tendency to howl at times, we think an apartment/condo is probably out of the picture. Ranger is great on leash and loves to go for walks, and he's also a pro riding in the car. Most of all, he’s happiest when he’s by your side, ready to be your cuddle buddy. If you’re looking for a loving, gentle pup to share your days with, Ranger is ready to be yours! Story
Meet the Flower Puppies! These tiny babies were found living in a discarded couch with their mom on the street. Their breeds are a mystery as we do not have daddy details. If we had to guess we believe they are chihuahua and some kind on spaniel mix. Based off mom's size we believe they will stay small ( under 15 pounds). There are 4 girls and 1 boy and all five are SO sweet and outgoing. Due to their itty bitty size we do not recommend them in home with very young children. They still need a little more time with their mom but will be ready to leave to their new homes the week of April 28th. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as as a forever home, be sure to submit an adoption application on our website! Adoption fee includes; spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention and age-appropriate vaccines. These pups would do great in a home with...Cats : Yep! Dogs : Yep!  Kiddos : 10+   ##2370022##
