Story
Did your brain just go to outer space because you cannot comprehend how cute I am? Then Cosmo is a pretty good name for me! I’m a young little guy who gets excited about so many things but can be very independent, especially when I’m sniffing around and working my nose! I go back-and-forth between wanting attention and wanting to zoom around. I have done well meeting other dogs here at Heartland, but would love to meet potential siblings before I go home!

Story
Poco is an incredibly sweet, clingy little guy who just wants to be by your side (or in your lap!) all the time. He’s the ultimate Velcro dog and would thrive with someone home often—especially a retiree looking for a loyal shadow. While he gets along with other small dogs, Poco would much prefer to be the only pup in the home so he can soak up all your love and attention. Poco is respectful around cats (in fact, he's a little scared of them!) and would do best in a home with older kids who understand gentle handling. He’s still working on his potty training and may lift his leg, but he's comfortable wearing a belly band in the meantime. If you're looking for a constant companion with a big heart and an even bigger desire to cuddle, Poco might just be your perfect match! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1,200.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Spots! Spots and more Spots!! When I first came to the animal control place, I was covered with spots! And to make matters worse, my mom and sisters were covered with spots too! I guess we all had the same thing, but I didn’t think that we were that scary that people wouldn’t want to touch us or anything! Then we came into the God’s Dogs and started getting treatment for ringworms, which isn’t’ really worms but a fungal infection on our skin due to our previously poor living conditions. We are still taking a pill and getting baths for our skin, but we shouldn’t be contagious anymore. So, we have been here for 3 weeks now, and our spots are getting smaller, and our hair is coming in nicely. We still don’t have a super full coat, but it is getting there, but what we lack in hair cover, we make up for in personality! I am a happy girl and love to play! I am the smallest of the sisters and am the quickest, I think! Anyhow, I love to play with toys and try to sneak them away from the siblings. My spots are slowing going away and they don’t itch or anything. So, there is no need to be afraid of my spots. I am a chihuahua dachshund mix I believe, and I have mom’s curly puggy tail too so there has to be some pug in our background somewhere. We don’t know dad, so our breed is only a guess. I am already fixed and my weight on 5.5.25 was only 4#10, so I will be on the small side. But good things come in little packages, right? I am over 3 months old now and would like to find myself a permanent home soon! Will it be with you? $250 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $500 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.

But it doesn’t bother me much anyhow as I don’t look at it that much. I love to play with toys and run. I love to run and bounce around. It is a fun game to play with my siblings, especially keeping away with toys. I am a chihuahua dachshund mix foster mom thinks and since we don’t know anything about our dad, our breed is only a guess. Story
Meet Cosmo Flower Tito! She is currently 3 1/2 months old,12 pounds, and we think she may be a chihuahua/ terrier mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Cosmo's video here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KLOPdkXQjsQ Cosmo is currently in a loving foster home and loves to play! She warms up to new people very quickly and will come running up to you wagging the most adorable short tail! She loves belly rubs and being in your lap. This beauty would make anyone a sweet, loyal best friend! Cosmo is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Cosmo's new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend!
