Story
Let me introduce you to Milo, an eight year old Chihuahua mix at 16.5 lbs, a bit over weight but he is walking more so it will be coming off. Milo loves walks above anything else, except food. He does well on a leash. He gets along well with all dogs I have seen, (although he often will bark at them), and my two cats. Milo is active and does some half jumps that might be too much for small children.Milo has been an easy going, cuddly, house trained dog. His expressive face goes from curious to hopeful to excited and joyful. It has been a real pleasure to have this guy around. He should be ok in a thick walled apartment, as long as he receives some walks everyday and is with people for most of the day, if he is alone he will howl. He does have some anxiety about being alone and has howled if no PERSON is there. He does have an odd leg (Luxating Patella) but it doesn't slow him down, He just lifts it up and runs around 3 legged. If you would like to meet Milo please fill out the application on OFOSA.ORG and his foster mom will contact you. By the way my adoption fee is $280 but I am all up to date, chipped and neutered.

Story
Harriet came to OFOSA as a stray from the Central California area. Since she was a stray, nothing is known about her background. Harriet is about 20 pounds and not much of a party girl, she likes a laid back home. She likes other dog and loves affection. Although she is quite polite when eating around other dogs, which is unusual, It's best not to leave your food where she can reach it. Her tail is wagging constantly. She is quite friendly with other dogs, especially new ones. I am a pet sitter, so someone new shows up almost every day. She LOVES to chew up anything she can find, so dog-proofing your place is essential as is a lot of chew toys. Harriet has to be persuaded to go into her crate but is fine after she is inside. She is potty-trained; no accidents in the house at all. She is not a big barker. She should be fine in an apartment. She will benefit from some training in walking on a leash, To meet Harriet please fill out the application on OFOSA.ORG and the foster mom will be in-touch. By the way the adoption fee is $320, which includes current vaccinations, microchip and spay.

Story
Muffin & Harriet came to OFOSA together, as strays from the Central California area. Since they were strays, nothing is known about their background. Muffin is about 15 pounds and around 2 years old and wants to join an active family. They are not technically a bonded pair (not raised together or related ), but they are VERY good friends. I think they would love to be placed together, but it is not a requirement. Both of them are starved for affection. Although they are quite polite when eating around other dogs, which is unusual, it's best not to leave your food where they can reach it. Their tails are wagging constantly. They are quite friendly with other dogs, especially new ones. I am a pet sitter, so someone new shows up almost every day. They both LOVE to chew up anything they can find, so dog-proofing your place is essential and lots of chew toys. They need some training to be the best family additions. She does need some serious training in walking on a leash. she gets too excited to calm down enough to enjoy a walk but with training she will be fine. Muffin is crate-trained, and will go into one willingly. She is potty-trained; no accidents in the house at all. She is not a big barker. She should be fine in an apartment. A coupler or double leash could be useful for someone adopting them both. Both of these girls are sweet and would love to find their forever home, together or separately. To meet them please go to OFOSA.ORG and fill out the application and the foster mom will be in-touch. By the way my adoption fee is $320 but I am all up to date, chipped and spayed.

Story
Hi, my name is Primrose but you can call me Primmie. I'm a very spunky 12-year old chihuahua who is just a little overweight. I would love a home where someone would take me for lots of walks so I can work on my summer body. I am super loving and really like sitting on the couch with you. I am ok with other dogs and don't much care about cats, but would really like to be an only dog and get all the attention for myself cause I can get a little possessive of my special person. Is that you? Cats OK. Kids unknown. If you would like to meet me please fill out the application on OFOSA.ORG and my foster mom will contact you. By the way my adoption fee is only $280 and Im full vetted...

Story
Copper is a sweet good boy in search of his forever family. He is a shy guy who doesn't like being in the spotlight, but will steal your heart with his puppy eyes, smooth coat, and soft snores. Gentle and reserved, Cooper has fear issues, but is bravely working through them and is on medication to help him manage. He will need an experienced dog home who will help him build confidence and trust with consistency, exercise, and patience. Copper is crate trained, house trained, and great on leash! He would benefit from having another confident dog(s) in the house. He has not been cat tested, but we think he would be fine. Older, dog savvy kids would be okay, but no littles as they could overwhelm him. Adopting Copper and helping him achieve his lap dog dreams will take work, but your efforts will be rewarded in multitudes by the love this handsome buddy has to give. He would not be comfortable in an apartment as if alone he may bark and he needs to run and exercise on his own at time. If you would like to meet Copper please fill out the application on OFOSA.ORG and the foster mom will be in touch. He is fully vetter, Neutered and Chipped and only $320 for an adoption fee.
