Story
Bebe is a lovely dog who was rescued from the streets after giving birth to her adorable puppies. Although she was shy at first, she quickly warms up to new friends, especially when treats are involved! She's great with children under 13, and you can easily carry her without any fuss. Bebe enjoys saying hello to other dogs, but she's more inclined to play with those who match her gentle energy level. She prefers calm, well-mannered companions over hyperactive pups. Having lived with cats for about eight months, Bebe is perfectly comfortable around them and doesn't mind their presence at all. With a moderate energy level, she loves going for walks and is a pro on the leash. After her strolls, she's happy to curl up and snooze the day away. Bebe is non-aggressive with her food and toys, and if she needs something, she'll simply bark to let you know. She's also great in a crate during car rides and knows how to hop in and out of vehicles, as long as they're not too high for her. If you're looking for a sweet, gentle companion, Bebe would love to meet you! ##2260954##

Story
Quick Facts  Name: Seul-Ah Age: Approximately 12 years old Gender: Female Neutered/Sprayed: Yes Breed: Long-haired Chihuahua Mix Color: Brown Weight: Around 5 kg (fluctuates slightly) Health History I’m in great health, thanks to the wonderful care I’ve received. Heartworm: Tested negative on April 27, 2024. Surgeries: Neutered on October 22, 2024. Had surgery to correct patellar luxation in both knees (Grade 3), and now I can walk comfortably and happily. Dental Care: I’ve had a full dental cleaning and, though I had most of my teeth removed, it hasn’t slowed me down—I’m a pro at eating soft food! My Story I’m a gentle soul who enjoys the quieter side of life. At first, I might seem a little shy, but give me time and patience, and you’ll discover my affectionate side. I love to hop up on my hind legs and give a little dance when I’m excited to see you—it’s my special way of saying hello! On My Walks‍ I also like gentle walks in quiet areas. Busy streets can be a bit overwhelming for me, but in a serene setting, I enjoy exploring at my own pace. Sometimes loud noises or sudden movements startle me, but I feel safe when I’m with someone I trust. Life at Home I’m a polite housemate who’s already house-trained. Whether it’s a pad indoors or a nice spot outdoors, I’ve got my potty habits down. I ride quietly in a kennel and don’t mind relaxing there when needed. I might be a little protective of my meals if another dog is around—it’s just my way of saying, “This is mine!” But with humans, I’m more than happy to share and show no guarding behaviors. What Makes Me Special What makes me truly special is my quiet resilience and elegant demeanor. I’m not overly demanding for attention, but I’ll always let you know when I’m happy to see you with my signature little hop. I’m the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a calm and gentle presence. My Ideal Home I’m looking for a peaceful and loving home that matches my mellow personality. Here’s what I dream of:                •             A Quiet Environment: A serene household without too much hustle and bustle.                •             A Patient Family: Someone who understands that I need a little time to feel safe and loved.                •             Companionship: Whether it’s a calm doggy sibling or a human who enjoys relaxing days, I thrive with gentle company. Last Message If you’re searching for a sweet, soulful companion to share quiet moments with, I’d love to meet you. Let’s write the next chapter of our story together—I’m ready to be part of your world. ##2281987##

Story
Meet Gizmo: the cutest little Gremlin (aka chihuahua) around. Gizmo is an 8-year-old, 9-pound chihuahua being fostered in Toronto. Just like his namesake from the movie Gremlins, our Gizmo is sweet, gentle, and shy at first. He may not come with a list of mysterious rules (no midnight snacks required!), but he does need a patient and loving home to help him shine. Gizmo was used for breeding but thankfully those days are behind him! No more multiplying Gremlins for him! Thankfully, Gizmo’s personality is not like the scary Gremlins —so just give him time, and he’ll be your loyal companion. Gizmo takes comfort from other dogs, especially female dogs or larger friendly males (he does get along with small or mid size males but may try to “get frisky” with them, which is not always well received). He’s also fine with dog-savvy cats. Gizmo loves all people - as long as he isn’t pressured into making friends too quickly (he is a chihuahua after all!). Once he trusts you, he is happy to be your little shadow. Older kids who understand he won’t be cuddly right away are best for him, but he would be fine with visiting small children if they are gentle and let him take the lead. Gizmo enjoys walking and outside time but isn’t a fan of the extreme cold (but who is)? He has a nice amount of energy for his size for walks and you won’t be able to resist his little tippy tap feet when he walks! He gets a bit nervous in the car but he’s a good boy to come with you to work or wherever you like to go. Gizmo knows his manners - he’s housetrained- and will sit for a tasty treat! If you’re looking for a tiny, furry sidekick, Gizmo might just be your perfect match. Could you be the one to give this little Gremlin the happy ending he deserves? Don’t wait until after midnight—help Gizmo find his perfect home today! Story
Name: SullyBreed: Chihuahua MixAge: 6 yearsGender: Male (Neutered)Size: Small, Approx. 10 lbsAbout Sully:Sully is a brilliant and resilient little guy who has made remarkable progress since arriving at the shelter. Initially showing signs of fear-based aggression and resource guarding, he’s been working hard on overcoming these challenges with the help of positive reinforcement training. Sully is highly intelligent and is already showing a great understanding of leash communication and verbal cues. While he still has some work to do in building confidence, he is showing increasing comfort in new situations and learning that the world doesn’t have to be a scary place. He thrives in calm, structured environments where he feels safe and secure. His personality is blossoming as he continues to form trusting bonds with his human handlers.Ideal Home:Sully will do best in a quiet, patient home with an experienced dog owner who understands fear-based behaviors and is willing to invest time and effort into furthering his progress. This home should be free from young children and visiting children, as Sully has shown signs of fear around them. Due to his past experiences with bullying by other dogs, he needs a home where he can be the only pet, at least for now. He would excel in a home with a consistent routine and structured training where his confidence can continue to grow.Training and Skills:Sully has been working on basic obedience and has made significant progress. He knows how to walk nicely on a leash and responds well to verbal cues such as “sit” and “stay.” He’s also showing improvement in his understanding of personal boundaries. While he is crate-trained and housebroken, he will benefit from ongoing, positive reinforcement-based training to continue building trust and confidence.Favourites:Sully loves cozy blankets and a comfy spot to relax in. He also enjoys small training treats as part of his positive reinforcement sessions.Dislikes:Sully has a strong aversion to unfamiliar people or situations that may feel threatening to him. He is also protective of his resources (food, toys, etc.), which can lead to resource guarding behaviors if not properly managed. Due to his previous experiences, he does not enjoy interactions with other dogs and prefers to be the only pet in the household.Health Information:Sully is neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations. He is healt

Story
Hello, future family! My name is Pora, and I'm a 6-year-old Pomeranian princess with a fluffy white coat that's as soft as a cloud. Rescue Story: I've had quite the journey, being rescued from a place that wasn't the best start in life. But look at me now! After a successful surgery on March 5, 2024, to fix a hernia and remove a benign tumor, I'm all healed up and ready for a new beginning. Special Care: My skin's a bit dry, so I'm looking for someone who loves spa days as much as I do. A little hydration treatment, and I'll be glowing! Personality: I'm a tad reserved at first, but I warm up quickly with a tasty treat in hand. I'll even show you my belly as a sign of trust from our very first hello! Likes: Greeting other dogs with a polite sniff, but I'm more of a solo artist when it comes to playtime Enjoying the great outdoors with zest, followed by some well-deserved rest Exploring the world one sniff at a time I'm all about those intriguing scents! Home Life: I'm a pro at keeping my kennel calm and serene, and I promise not to make a fuss over my meals. Quiet as a Mouse: I'm not one to bark up a storm, so your neighbors will love me too! Looking for: A patient and loving human who understands that I might need a moment before I come over for cuddles. But once I do, I'm a loyal companion for life. If you're ready for a furry friend who's as regal as she is resilient, I'm the girl for you. Let's start our forever story together! Puppy kisses and tail wags, Pora ##2260966##

Story
Hello, I'm Pookie Bear. I'm a loyal friend, a bit on the shy side, but once we bond, I promise to be your cuddle buddy. I'm pretty smart too, you know. I love my independence, but that doesn't mean I don't need you. Oh, and I must confess, I'm not a fan of the vet or being bossed around. It's just me, I guess. But I promise to love you with all my heart, even if I'm a bit stubborn. I'd do best in a quiet home with no kids, where I can just be me. So, why should you adopt me? Because I promise to be the best friend you never knew you needed. I might need some patience, but I promise I'm worth it.
