We got Bailey and Benny at a animal shelter, Bailey likes everyone and likes attention and is real affectionate, shes afraid of loud noise. Bailey is the miniature Doberman. Benny is the Chihuahua mix and is afraid of people and is affectionate with the people he likes and also afraid of loud noise. I would like them both to be adopted to the same person because they have each other and sleep together. I think Benny was mistreated by someone that makes him afraid of people, Benny is affectionate and will not go near anyone if he doesnt trust them. I have to have knee replacement and can not take care of them anymore and that is why I have to give them up. Bailey is 10 and Benny is 8 they are both good dogs.

If you're looking for a low-key companion to sit at home and chill with, Marla is your girl! Marla is a blind older lady but she does not let that stop her! She is full of spunk and personality and loves to explore and strut her stuff. Marla would do best in a more calm environment since she can't see her surroundings and can become overwhelmed if there is too much going on. Marla really is a sweetheart that deserves only the finest things in life through her golden years. All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, Heartworm tested (6 months and above,) and current on vaccinations and preventions prior to adoption. At the time of adoption all dogs are signed up with a unique Safe Paws QR pet ID tag, the adopter is required to maintain a monthly membership of $2.99/month for (at minimum) the first year. This helps insure your new furry family member makes his way back to you if lost. Leashes and collars are also required at the time of adoption. You are welcome to bring your own, or we have plenty to choose from at the shelter as well. If the pet you fall in love with is not quite ready for adoption, we do offer a $50 hold deposit that will insure you have first "dibs on adoption. Once an animal is available for adoption, we are not able to hold them, as there are so many animals waiting to come into our program. Our shelter is located at 10312 East 63rd Street in Raytown, MO. We are open to meet pets Tuesday through Friday from 10-6, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10-5. We are closed on Mondays. I acquired Evita around five years ago at this point. She has traveled across the Midwest with me moving from place to place for new adventures. Originally we met in Kansas City where we grew to love each other. Evita is a very lovable little girl, who enjoys nothing more than cuddles on the couch or in bed, chewing on little treats after a walk, and plenty of head scratches. Unfortunately I have fallen on hard times financially and have been struggling to give Evita the life she deserves, which is why I have decided to reach out and hopefully find her a home that can give her all of the love and attention she could ever want. While I've never had kids in the house with Evita, she has had brothers in the form of big dogs who she loved and would play with. She has done well with them, along with my human nieces and nephews on a more temporary basis. Evita is fairly comfortable in both houses and apartments, as she's very small and doesn't require much space.
