I am looking for a foster or my furever family! Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org to say YES to fostering me! Select the "Apply for Adoption" if you would like to adopt A portion of my adoption fee has been sponsored by my friends at Tito's Handmade Vodka. The adoption fee sponsorship credit of $250.00 will be applied during the contract process. Hi, I'm Tiny Batman and I'm from Alabama! From his foster: Tiny Batman has been going by Tito with us. I mostly call him silly pet names, so I honestly don't know if he knows any particular name right now :) Because I work from home, I have spent a lot of time with this little guy. He is full of dog love! He is also guarded and nervous around new people. He requires patience and a home that lets the dog decide when he wants attention. He will bark at sounds, new visitors, squirrels in the yard, and other dogs, but as he is building some comfort, this behavior is beginning to subside. 1. He is a very playful dog. He loves to chase a ball and he loves tug of war. He definitely sounds aggressive when he plays, so it takes some time to learn his body language when he wants to play with you. 2. We go on a daily walk and he loves it. He still wants to run in the yard several times a day. I am learning that he is not a fan of rain and you have to go outside with him to encourage him to stay out long enough to go potty. I'm guessing the snow will be similar. He can be leery of new people putting on his leash, so it might take some time for that comfort level to come. I have been using a slip lead, so no collar, and that has been fine. 3. He is mostly trained to use the bathroom outside, but he definitely had some accidents in the first week or two that he was with me-probably nerves. He still has some #2 accidents on occasion (I think it is when I take too long to leave for the walk in the morning). 4. He is very sweet and affectionate and will require a good amount of attention. 5. I have never put him in a crate in my home, but he does sleep on his own in a dog bed through the night. He will also sleep with you if you let him. 6. He likes to chew on bones and even ice. He likes to be busy when he isn't sleeping. 7. I do not have another pet in my home, so I can't say for sure how he would do in a multiple pet situation. It seems like he could be playful with other dogs, but I think a slow, calm introduction might be required. As I understand, he has been around other dogs prior to living with me. I do not know anything about his history with cats nor have I encountered any cats since having him. 8. I feel that an adults only house will be best for him. Small children certainly won't be a good fit for him. It is possible that older kids in the house could be okay. Tiny still needs training and everyone in a home will need a vested interest in his training and success. A home with lots of people in and out and lots of activity will likely stress this guy out and lead to not his best behavior. 9. He seems to do okay on car rides. I haven't tested this too much, but I have had some amount of success on a couple of car trips. 10. He loves to run in a yard, but if you just are able to get him out for walks that will likely suffice. I suppose he will want space to run around the house without a yard though. 11. A single family dwelling without shared walls is probably best. An apartment with shared hallways would be tough on this guy and shared walls might be tough on your neighbors because he is definitely vocal at times. Tiny has a history that includes a scare with a harness, which left him apprehensive about leashes. For now, he needs a fenced yard to explore freely without the pressure of a leash. With patience and love, Tiny will reward your commitment with endless snuggles and affection. Tiny is a very special dog that needs a very special home. He is the absolute sweetest companion! I have seen such growth in him in a short period of time. As he learns to feel safe in an environment, he can and will thrive. Please know that he will need time and patience and maybe a little bit of forgiveness along the way.

Hello my name is Mimi and I was surrendered along with my best friend Daisy after our owner died. Daisy and Mimi have to stay together. They are truly bonded and like to be right next to each other at all times. They are dog friendly and have spent a lot of time at boarding facilities and in large play groups. They are very social with people but we haven't seen them around kids specifically so we don't know how they'll do with really young kiddos. We also don't know how they are with kitties. They are house trained and are not big barkers. They just want a place where they can stay together after losing their owner. From their foster: Daisy and Mimi are two siblings that are a bonded pair. They spend lots of time together and will need to be adopted by the same family. They are such happy good girls. Both Daisy and Mimi enjoy going to daycare with other dogs, they are friendly with all types of dogs, so with proper introductions, they should be a good match with any other dogs (probably cats too! - although we haven't tested them). They are very small so keep that in mind. Most of the time, they are content to snuggle on the couch with one another - or the human, but they occasionally will run around and wrestle with each other or with other dogs. They are both so loving and affectionate with their humans. They love to be carried around, give kisses, and snuggled with. At first, they may be shy, but are quick to warm up with people. They are very food motivated and enjoy eating their meals in the crate. They would likely be easy to train due to this.

Story
Hi, my name is Cricket. I am from Alabama. From their foster: Hi, I’m Cricket and I’m from Alabama! Trixie and Cricket are a bonded pair so they will need to be adopted together. Trixie and Cricket’s owner passed away and they were brought to the local shelter. Trixie and Cricket are truly a dream team! They are the kindest, most affectionate little companions. Wherever you are, there they’ll be! They are quick to settle into a warm lap or lay by your feet. Cuddles and naps are their favorite pastimes. They require little more than food, love and affection. Trixie and Cricket haven’t shown much interest in going outside in the cold Minnesota winter, but I could imagine them romping outside in the summer sunshine. They are very small and will need supervision outside so that they remain safe from predators. Trixie is a bit more outgoing and rambunctious than Cricket who is light on her feet and quiet as a ninja. Together they make a great pair and they both have friendly temperaments. They have both had a “glow-up” since joining their foster. Trixie way spayed, had an abscess removed on her cute little tail, and had a full dental cleaning that resulted in 24 decaying teeth being pulled. She is now happy as a clam with the 4 teeth she has left. I swear she has the ability to smile and has a little raccoon in her. Her foster calls her a little woodland critter! Cricket was spayed and had a small mammary mass removed at the same time. She was such a trouper and we were glad to find out that the mass was benign. Cricket is so delicate and gentle and there is nothing better than watching her prance around happily. Cricket and Trixie have been both enjoying wet dog food and are currently working on potty training using puppy pads since they do not enjoy the cold. They haven’t met any children, but seem to be good tempered and would probably do well with children who were gentle with them. They get along well with the dogs they have met, but are pretty tiny so they need to be careful when bigger dogs want to play. They haven’t met a cat yet. The ideal owner for Trixie and Cricket would be around the home-front a lot, maybe working from home or retired. They would be ready to give love to two beautiful and resilient little girls and deserve to live the good life. When you wake up in the morning to their sweet little kisses tickling your nose, you’ll surely ask yourself, “how’d I get so lucky?” From the vet team: The vet team wants my future adopter to know that I have a grade 2/4 MPL (Medial patellar luxation). This is not causing me any issues at the moment so my future adopter should monitor with a primary vet. I recently had a mammary mass removed which came back as non-cancerous and a small mass on the top of my head evaluated. It is recommended my future adopters follow-up with my primary vet if it changes in size and monitor for any future mass development.

If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Reagan, aka Willow, is a delightful girl looking for her forever home. She’s fully house and kennel trained, never has accidents, and is vocal about her needs. While initially shy, she blossoms into an affectionate and loyal companion with a little patience. Reagan loves to cuddle and has a unique talent for following her human everywhere without being underfoot. Although she’ll happily jump onto laps and snuggle, Willow isn’t a fan of being picked up and prefers to keep her paws on the ground. Because of this, any children in her future home should be older or very respectful of a dog’s boundaries. Reagan is good with treats, making her easy to coax, and she’s adapted well to wearing her coat. This sweet girl would thrive in a home with another small dog to run and play with, and she’s ready to bring love and devotion to the right family. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.    ##1749162##
