My name is Little Bit. I'm from Alabama! From his foster: Little Bit is a one of a kind guy. At our home we have been calling him Herb - because he reminds us of an old man with his constant love for napping and food! Herb is a dog with seizures, so he requires 3 times a day medication. He has improved a little bit with the crate but still isn't great. He does well being out with no supervision! He has minimal accidents in the house but we put belly bands on him and he does amazing with those. Herb loves nothing more than to snuggle under the blankets with you any time of the day! He loves food, so if you're eating be prepared to have him beg at your feet for a little taste! He currently lives with 2 dogs and 2 cats and does well with all of them! He loves kids as well, preferrably if they're over the age of 4. From the Vet: Hi, My name is Little Bit and I would like to share some information about my medical history. I have active epilepsy, however I am currently managing these episodes on anti seizure drugs three times daily and doing well as long as I get the meds on that consistent schedule. As long as you are comfortable and able to help me in this way, I know I will be an amazing addition to any family!

Story
Hi! My name is Lil Bit and I am from Arkansas. From my Foster! Lil Bit is a TOTAL lap dog - she just wants to snuggle on your lap. She is very loving and loves your attention. She'll be your little shadow. She still gets a bit nervous with loud noises, and is very loyal to me. She loves to go on walks. She wants to meet all dogs on our walks to see if she can make new friends. She loves food and LOVES her treats. She would love to sleep with you. She tolerates me brushing her teeth, such a good girl! From the Vet: I am currently undergoing heartworm treatment and will need to have a bilateral knee surgery to repair my grade 3/4 luxating patellas after my heartworm treatment has been completed. Don't worry Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! My adoption can still take place while TBB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center and the completion of the MPL procedures. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family. I hope I can find a special home for a special dog like me. If your looking for a lil pup to spoil I may be your girl!

Story
Hello my name is Mimi and I was surrendered along with my best friend Daisy after our owner died. Daisy and Mimi have to stay together. They are truly bonded and like to be right next to each other at all times. They are dog friendly and have spent a lot of time at boarding facilities and in large play groups. They are very social with people but we haven't seen them around kids specifically so we don't know how they'll do with really young kiddos. We also don't know how they are with kitties. They are house trained and are not big barkers. They just want a place where they can stay together after losing their owner. From their foster: Daisy and Mimi are two siblings that are a bonded pair. They spend lots of time together and will need to be adopted by the same family. They are such happy good girls. Both Daisy and Mimi enjoy going to daycare with other dogs, they are friendly with all types of dogs, so with proper introductions, they should be a good match with any other dogs (probably cats too! - although we haven't tested them). They are very small so keep that in mind. Most of the time, they are content to snuggle on the couch with one another - or the human, but they occasionally will run around and wrestle with each other or with other dogs. They are both so loving and affectionate with their humans. They love to be carried around, give kisses, and snuggled with. At first, they may be shy, but are quick to warm up with people. They are very food motivated and enjoy eating their meals in the crate. They would likely be easy to train due to this.

Story
Hi! My name is Charmin and I am from Minnesota. From her foster: Charmin is a charmer. She came in with her sister Cottonelle. They love sleeping together, but are not dependent on each other, so can be adopted together or separately. Charmin loves to cuddle and be in your lap. She is a quiet girl and likes to be where you are. She loves to give lots of kisses and can be playful (but the actual squeak of a toy makes her run away from the toy) She is a bit skittish of movement, but not not of people themselves. She loves sleeping in your bed or watching TV on the couch. She will willingly go out to go potty, or use a pee pad if she can't wait. She walks well on a leash, though we just let her out in the fenced yard. She gets along with other dogs, but may be a bit snarky with them at first. She is really a fun sweet girl. Fast movements are scary for her. If she is eating and you walk by, we will run from her food dish, but go back to it after you are done. Overall she is not a timid dog, just some situations.

Hi, my name is Cricket. I am from Alabama. From the vet team: The vet team wants my future adopter to know that I have a grade 2/4 MPL (Medial patellar luxation). This is not causing me any issues at the moment so my future adopter should monitor with a primary vet. I also have a small mass on the top of my head that was evaluated and it is recommended my future adopters follow-up with my primary vet if it changes in size.

Story
Meet this little bundle of joy, Pookie, a sweet Chihuahua mix who's ready to fill your home with snuggles, smiles, and endless love! At just 4 months old and weighing about 6 pounds, he's a playful and friendly pup who adores spending time with people and can’t wait to join your family. While he's already crate-trained and making great strides with his house-training, he may just need a little extra gentle guidance to perfect those skills. But with his loving heart and eagerness to please, he'll be a fast learner! Though he may not be the most photogenic pup, what he lacks in camera skills, he more than makes up for with his golden heart and lovable personality. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate, and playful companion to brighten up your days, this little guy is the one for you! Ready to bring joy, cuddles, and a lifetime of memories to your home—he can't wait to meet his forever family! I can be shy and need the space and time to open up and shine. My ideal home would be a calm environment with a more predictable routine.  A home where someone can stay with me most of the time would make me a happy boy! There are so many great things about me! I love to snuggle, am quiet, will keep you warm in bed at night, and am a good car passenger. Once I start to get comfortable, I give the best little kisses. I am house trained on a schedule. Because I'm unsure of the outdoors, I like someone to be outside with me. I'm crated when left alone and I keep my area clean. I currently live with 3 smaller dogs and 2 cats and do well with them. I don't live with children now, but my foster parents think I'd do ok with older kids. In my foster home, I've seemed interested in stuff toys and am working on being brave enough to play. And once I do get brave, I’ve found I also like to run!  Because of this, I do need a fenced yard.  My foster parents were so excited for me when they saw me chewing on a bone and I really enjoy doing that! If you think that we'd be a match, apply to meet me. I'd love to see if we are perfect for each other! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Buzz is a spirited 4-year-old chihuahua terrier mix with a heart full of love and a past that has shaped his unique personality. Having overcome a rough start in life, Buzz can be a little shy when meeting new people. He’ll greet you with a wagging tail, but sometimes that excitement can turn into a low growl as he navigates his insecurities. The best approach? Just ignore the growl, keep chatting, and let him warm up to you in his own time. This clever little guy is as smart as they come, though he can be quite stubborn too! Buzz has a playful spirit and adores his toys and the company of other small dogs. He’s a pro on the leash and is comfortable in his crate, making him a great companion for walks and downtime alike. Buzz is currently working on his potty training and is highly motivated by food—making him a quick learner with the right encouragement. He’s looking for a patient and understanding forever home where he can thrive and feel secure. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Hi I’m Dirk!  I’m a handsome scruffy guy who is looking for a family of my very own.  I came here from a shelter in Arkansas where I found myself when my owner passed away.  I wasn’t there too long before I came to MN where I found myself in a foster home.  It took me a bit to open up to my new foster.  I was sad and confused since I had lost my home and owner.  I was lucky though that I got to come here with my sister.  I don’t need to be adopted with her, but if you have room in your heart I’d certainly love to be adopted with her.  When we meet I’m shy with new people and need a bit to warm up.  Once I trust you though then I’m a happy guy who loves neck scratches!  I lean into them and rub against your hand like a cat with the biggest smile while I dance in excitement.  I don’t care much about toys.  I do like to run with my doggie friends outside, but I don’t like when they get to wild.  That’s when I bark at them and tell them they need to chill out.  When I’m not out with my friends I can be found chilling out at my mom’s feet or sitting in her lap getting all the good pets.  I think I’d prefer a home that’s a bit more quiet with no little kids.  I just don’t enjoy being overwhelmed by their antics.  I’d love a fenced yard where I can sit and sunbathe, but if you don’t have one that’s ok too.  I’m not very into food and treats, but maybe my foster mama just hasn’t found the right ones yet.  I should also probably tell you that my back legs are pretty bowlegged.  The nice doctor said I was just born that way and that since they don’t bother me or give me any pain that they are ok.  Mama says I’m perfect and I couldn’t agree more! Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Meet Spanky: The Tiny Chi with a Giant Personality!   Spanky is a 4-year-old Chihuahua who packs a lot of personality into his little frame. True to his Chi nature, Spanky loves to be in the spotlight and isn’t afraid to make his opinions known. Whether it’s deciding when it’s playtime, cuddle time, or chore time, Spanky likes to have a say—and he’s not shy about sharing it!   This spunky little guy has a playful side and enjoys romping around, but on his terms. He’s not a fan of other dogs deciding when it’s time to play, so he’d be happiest as the star of the show in a home where he can call the shots. Spanky also has a unique way of “helping” his humans around the house. He absolutely loves being held while you’re doing chores, offering his tiny but mighty presence as your most adorable assistant.   Spanky is currently being treated for a possible tick-borne disease, which may explain why he can sometimes be a bit grumpy. As his treatment continues and his pain subsides, we’re hopeful he’ll feel even better and show more of his happy, playful side. This brave little guy is already making progress and proving just how resilient he is.   Spanky thrives with humans who can appreciate his big personality, respect his boundaries, and give him the love and structure he needs to shine. In return, he’ll offer endless loyalty, laughter, and companionship.   If you’re looking for a pint-sized pup with a larger-than-life attitude and a heart full of love, Spanky might just be the perfect match for you. Story
Hi! My name is Mallory and I am from Missouri. **Meet Mallory!** Mallory is a stunning 7-year-old Pomeranian with a soft, fluffy coat and soulful eyes that tell a story of resilience. She came into rescue as an extremely unsocialized dog and is still learning that humans can be kind and gentle. Mallory is terrified of human contact and will freeze when approached, so she’ll need an experienced, patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. She may never be a cuddly lap dog, but she has so much potential to blossom in the right environment. The key to Mallory’s confidence is another dog! She thrives with a calm, well-adjusted canine companion to show her the ropes and help her feel safe. Her ideal home will have a resident dog who can be her buddy and role model. Mallory’s rehabilitation journey will require time, understanding, and love. She’ll need a quiet home without young children and a fenced yard where she can explore safely at her own pace. She’s looking for someone who sees her for who she is now and believes in the amazing dog she can become. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to Mallory and provide the ongoing care she needs, she’ll reward you with the joy of watching her slowly learn to trust and enjoy life. Are you the special person Mallory has been waiting for?

Story
Please meet, Gigi. She's a 6yr old Pomeranian mix. She has lived her whole life with an aging parent who has loved her and spoiled her. She loves treats, walks and playing with her toys. She's a total lover and snuggle bug. Having only lived in a home with one person, she is a little shy when meeting new people and is timid around other dogs. However, she's very smart and with the right socialization, I believe, she would blossom. She's very funny and silly and would be a wonderful pet/companion for a single person or couple. She has not had any exposure to small children so I'm not sure how she would adapt to that environment. She is trained to potty on indoor potty paper, but also knows to potty outside. It greatly saddens us to re-home her, but my aging mother's health prohibits her from keeping her any longer. She will be free of charge to a good and stable home that fits her needs. Gigi is in good health, has all of her vaccines and her vet records will be provided.
