I am a smart boy who knows commands like “leave it” and “go potty” but I’m very timid and afraid of things like loud noises, commotion, children, and most people in general! Additionally, I do not like the crate and will yell if I’m in there; I will poo outside, but I wear a belly band inside; and I have limited leash experience because I can’t seem to stop myself from showing off my inner Houdini by wriggling out of my leash and harness. I am, however, always respectful of cats and good with other dogs so I will need a doggie companion when I go to my new home. All that said, once my humans have earned my trust, I am the sweetest, most affectionate little guy you will EVER meet! I am also very playful, and I LOVE to chew and run! That means that not only does my new family need to get the toy box ready with lots of chew toys, squeakers, and bones, but my new yard will need to be securely fenced so I can safely demonstrate my amazing ‘zoomie’ techniques! He’s 8 years old and 6lbs of confidence and independence. He’s a friendly and happy little dude too. He loves to relax, snuggle, and be with his foster mom. He adores being pet and held! He’s a great desk/office buddy! He is potty trained and does his business outside. He is crate trained too. He walks well on leash and loves walks. He does require a fenced in yard, he loves the freedom of it and doesn’t do his business well when he’s on leash.  He’s learning some words too: ‘leave it’, ‘go potty’, ‘come’, 'sit' and he knows his own name! He occasionally barks when left alone, if he is in the Xpen outside, if he wants to be with his foster mom, or when he's playing with other dogs or toys. He doesn’t like other dogs in his personal bubble. He would rather be the one to approach another dog vs the dog approaching him, so he likes other dogs on his terms only and has never met larger dogs either. Dusty has recently discovered toys and is starting to play with them more and more! He has also started playing with some of his doggy foster siblings, foster mom, and doing zoomies! It's so cute and fun to watch!  Dusty likes being the sassy, confident, bossy dog. He does pretty well with his foster siblings and dogs he knows and lives with! He is the most bossy towards new dogs and is definitely more bark than bite. He does best with smaller dogs who are submissive and/or non reactive and don't care if he's the boss. Dusty is a total goofball. He can be possessive of toys and food related items towards other dogs and his foster mom is working on correcting this behavior. He is submissive with humans and LOVES people! He likes being the center of attention. If you quit petting him or pet another dog he’ll work his way back to your hand! He adores snuggles, pets, kisses, being held and being loved on! He’s ready to find his forever home and start his new life. He is a lovable fluff ball who is so dang cute and he’ll make you laugh and smile everyday! We are learning about different toys, but really, it's a girl party with all my sisters. We haven't been in MN long, so have yet to meet children, dogs or cats. But we get to go outside this week, yay! We are quite good at using the potty papers in our nursery room, and love to be involved in all the things. Nadia is estimated to be 10 weeks old and 4 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. Baby Bat embodies the personality, uniqueness and likeness of the Batman. First, he works alone. No sidekicks or partners. He prefers solitude and his space. Baby Bat has lived with his foster and her dog pack for 5 years, he gets along with them but tolerates them at most. He would do well in a home where he is the only dog, no children, and adults only. Next, Baby Bat is an apex predator. Which means he needs his sleep and food and not to be interrupted or coddled when given either. Baby Bat is not a lap or cuddly dog. I am a timid and shy girl who is making tremendous progress living in a home with a loving family. I have learned so many things – the most important is to trust my people. My people have been very gentle and going slow with me and I have made a lot of progress. She gives me little massages on my head and back – it is so relaxing for me and my people. I have the softest coat and I think you will agree! I am a shy little girl, so having a confident dog in my forever home is required. Another dog will be helpful to show me the ropes, help me get on a routine and help me feel comfortable in my surroundings. Foster mom tells me with a little time and a lotta love, I will come out of my shell and be a great friend to my people. A lot of commotion worry me a bit, so I spend time in my comfy bed watching the activity in the house. Hopefully you have lots of comfy beds for me! Potty training is going great, my foster mom carries me outside and I am good about doing my business on a routine. While I will go potty on a leash, I don't know how to go for walks yet so will need a fence. Maybe there is another dog in the house to show me how to walk on a leash? Hopefully! I’m not just cute—I’m full of personality and charm! People say I’m the sweetest dog ever, and I think they’re right. I’m playful, curious, and I absolutely love attention. When I look into your eyes, it’s with pure trust and love. I’m all about tummy rubs, and my fluffy coat is easy to take care of with just a weekly brushing. I love to chase after balls, though I’m still figuring out how to bring them back to you. I get along great with all the other dogs in my foster home, and I’d really thrive in a home with another doggy friend to learn from. Having a confident and social dog in my forever home to help me learn to trust and get on a routine, but it isn't required.  When we go for walks, I don’t pull, and I love stopping to smell the roses (or whatever else catches my nose). I’m also eager to meet new people. One of my favorite things to do is run zoomies in the backyard; my foster family says it’s the cutest thing ever! I weigh about 15 pounds, but my gorgeous double coat makes me look a bit bigger—like a little black bear! When you pet me, your fingers will disappear into my silky fur, which feels like therapy for both of us. I’m a sweet, playful, and gentle girl who loves hanging out with the other dogs in my foster home. We play by gently grabbing each other’s tails and legs, and when I’m outside, I really shine! I love to run the perimeter of the yard at full speed—you should see how fast I am! My people call them epic zoomies – hee hee! But don’t worry, I’m just as happy sitting next to you on the couch, soaking up all the love and attention you’re willing to give. I'm still learning to trust humans, so meeting new people can make me a bit shy. But once I warm up to you, I'm all about those cuddles and scratches. Oh, and chin and back scratches? Count me in! I’m doing great with potty training and sleep quietly in my kennel all night long. I’ve got great manners on a leash too—no tugging or stopping at every tree for me! I’ll walk right by your side, keeping up with you. I’m also a good eater and enjoy small dog treats after going outside. You won’t hear much barking from me unless there’s a good reason, and even then, a simple “Suzi stop” is all it takes for me to quiet down. I have a calm and even temperament, so while I’ve got plenty of energy for play, I’m also content to take it easy.
