Age: Approximately 2 years old Weight: 12 lbs Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Yes Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: Still working on it! Crate trained: Does not like the crate, but does well when left loose alone **needs another dog in the home to thrive** Meet Ramon, the little dog with a big heart! Ramon may be small in size, but he's overflowing with love and affection. When he first meets new people or dogs, he will be a bit shy and bark a little, but don't worry—after a few minutes, he's all smiles and ready to be your friend. Ramon is making huge strides every day, and his confidence is growing as he settles into his foster home. His foster mom says he's one of the sweetest, most loving dogs she's ever met. Ramon lives with two foster brothers: a large, 11-year-old husky mix and a 2-year-old coonhound mix. Despite their size differences, they all get along wonderfully. Ramon even won over the coonhound who tried to boss him around at first. Now, the three of them are great friends. Ramon loves to play with his foster brothers, run around the yard, and, most of all, cuddle. His foster mom says he has the goofiest, cutest personality. He's great on walks—though he might bark at some dogs and people along the way, once he gets into the groove, he doesn't notice them as much. Ramon doesn't pull on the leash, making him easy to walk. He's also got excellent recall and listening skills. Even though he's tiny and fast, Ramon just wants to be by your side. He's learning the ropes of potty training and usually goes on puppy pads inside. His foster mom is keeping a close eye on him as he works on this. Ramon has free roam of the house when his foster mom is out, and while he's scared of his crate, they haven't worked on that much yet. One of Ramon's favorite activities is taking car rides with his crew to the park. He wears his seatbelt and lays down right away. He also loves trips to the dog park, where he can run and play to his heart's content. If you're looking for an affectionate, caring little guy who enjoys a bit of adventure, Ramon might just be the perfect match for you!
