Story
I have had this guy and his sister since they were one month old, Kingdom is a good dog and he needs lots of love and someone who has time to spend with him and give him the training that he needs. He is still young enough to make someone very happy. He needs a fenced in yard, he is a runner and very active. He needs to be in a space where he can run outside - He is an escape artist/runner and a track star. He is just over a year old and was born in November. He is ready to go to a nice new home, with a brother hopefully - the girls are not that fond of him.

Story
Miguel is a charming two-year-old Chihuahua with a big personality packed into his tiny eight-pound frame. This little guy is playful, affectionate, and happiest when he’s spending time with his people or romping around the backyard. Miguel loves to run, wrestle with his dog friends, and entertain himself with toys, making him a fun and engaging companion. When playtime is over, he’s more than happy to curl up and cuddle with his human—his sweet, loving side truly shines once he feels comfortable. Miguel forms a strong bond with his person and truly loves his human. Because of this, he doesn’t necessarily want to share all of that attention and so would do best as the only dog in the home and in a household without young children. While he enjoys playing with other dogs and does well during social interactions, regular doggy playdates would be a wonderful way for him to enjoy canine companionship without feeling overwhelmed. Miguel is crate trained and almost fully potty trained, continuing to improve with consistency. He can be vocal when he hears noises or unfamiliar people, so a quieter home environment would be ideal—apartment living would not be the best fit for him. He is looking for a home with a fenced in yard and ideally as the only dog. Miguel is ready to find a forever family who will appreciate both his playful spirit and his deeply loyal, snuggly side. Miguel is currently being fostered in Rhode Island and is available for adoption throughout Northeastern states. *All breed listings are educated guesses and not guaranteed*

Story
Hey! My name is Jack. I am a young 1-2 year old chi/min pin mix… I think. I prefer to think that I am just a small GreyHound! I love to run. Walking is not something I understand! I love to run around the yard, the house, pretty much everywhere I go. I do it at full speed. I am almost 100% potty trained but I have had a few accidents in the house. They may not have been my fault but it did happen. Mommy and daddy were not paying attention to me, so maybe it was their fault. Or maybe it was the cat! I am a bit mouthy. I don’t bite, except the vet. I just like hands and fingers to nibble on. We are working on it and I am getting better. I will sleep in a crate but it isn’t my favorite place to sleep. I will let you know for a minute then fall fast asleep. If I sleep in the bed, I sleep through the night and wont move an inch!! My perfect adopter will be someone that is active and has a fenced in yard. I am small but I can really jump. 4 foot… Easy! Make it 5 foot! If you need a hiking buddy or a running partner, I am your boy. Cats?? Not a problem! Kids. No problem but I may jump on them. I would even love to have another dog friend to chase around. My current dog sister is older and she has a bad attitude!! So if you think I would fit into your family, reach out. By the way, I am an excellent kisser! Please apply for me at www.coaldr.org Jack's adoption fee is $300 and he is being fostered in Greenville, SC. We are able to transport Jack to New England for an additional fee.

Story
These two adorable, well-mannered ladies never imagined they’d be starting over… but after the heartbreaking loss of their owner, they now find themselves searching for a soft place to land for their golden years. They’re currently safe and resting comfortably with our friends at Saving Paws Rescue in Mississippi, and when we heard their story, we knew we had to help them find the loving homes they deserve.✨ What we know so far:Senior gals with gentle, easygoing personalitiesLow-key and happy to just relax by your sideLiving peacefully with multiple dogs – no issues at allCats don’t seem to bother them eitherSweet, calm, and just looking for comfort and kindnessWhile they’ve lived together, they do not appear strongly bonded, so we are open to placing them separately. That said… we would absolutely love to see them stay together and are even offering a special “two-for-one” adoption for someone willing to open their heart and home to both. 💕There is truly something special about senior dogs. They don’t ask for much—just a cozy spot, a gentle touch, and someone to love. In return, they bring a quiet kind of joy, gratitude, and companionship that’s hard to put into words. If you’ve ever thought about giving a senior dog a chance… these girls might just be the ones to show you how meaningful that decision can be. ❤️📍Available through PAWS New England🌐 Apply at: www.pawsnewengland.com/adoptName: Malachi & OzoBreed: Chihuahua/Crossbreed   (Breed mx is not guaranteed-no DNA testing done).Sex: FemaleAge: 10 years  (estimated)Weight: 10.Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Over 12Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: YesAdoption Fee: $500 (for both dogs)  (includes transport fee of $150 per dog )                       Location of dog currently:    MississippiIMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Meet Weezer! This adorable floppy-eared girl arrived in New England just a few days ago and is already winning hearts. Weezer came from a less-than-ideal situation but made her way into rescue and found her path to Paws New England—and now she’s ready to start her next chapter.Weezer is about 8 months old and foster mom thinks she has some Chihuahua/Beagle mix in her (though that’s just aguess!). She has that wonderful puppy energy—playful, curious, and always happy to be near her people. Weezer loves to jump right into your lap for cuddles and has been having a great time playing with the other dogs in her foster home. She’s also been loving life in the fenced yard, where she can run and explore. Since she didn’t have much exposure to walks before, the leash and harness are brand new experiences for her. Right now, if she feels leash pressure she may do a dramatic little “alligator roll,” but with patience and a bit of training she’ll learn quickly. She’s a very sweet and eager puppy who just needs someone willing to help show her the ropes. In her previous home, Weezer was pee-pad trained, so she’ll need some guidance learning that potty time now happens outside in the yard or on walks.Weezer is a lovely, affectionate pup with so much potential. With a little patience, consistency, and love, she’s going to make a wonderful companion Link to the post asking for help for Weezer:https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1FRBrq2wSD/Name: WeezerBreed: Chihuahua   (Breed mx is not guaranteed-no DNA testing done).Sex: FemaleAge: 7-8 monthsWeight: 14.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: UnknownGood with Dogs: Yes Loves to playGood with Cats: UnknownAdoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)                       $100-150 additional mandatory quarantine fee for Massachusetts residents.Location of dog currently:    MassachusettsIMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England. Story
Despite all she’s been through, Waffles is an incredibly friendly little girl who thrives on human connection. Found as a stray in heartbreaking condition—severely underweight and suffering from a fractured elbow—this gentle girl was given a second chance when a dedicated southern rescuer stepped in to get her the urgent care she needed. After undergoing surgery and beginning her journey to recovery, Waffles has shown gratitude and affection. She now has a tender, endearing way of showing love—gently pressing her head against you, soaking up every bit of love she can. She happily rolls onto her back for belly rubs and cherishes quiet moments of closeness, though she prefers to keep all four paws on the ground rather than being carried like a baby.Waffles is currently recovering in a foster home where she’s been carefully crate-rested to allow her injury to heal properly. She rides well in the car, walks nicely on a leash, and settles happily when given the chance to relax by your side. While she shares space with several other dogs, she tends to keep to herself and doesn’t seek out canine companionship, suggesting she may be perfectly content as your one-and-only or with other calm, respectful dogs. Her gentle demeanor and love for quiet companionship make her an especially wonderful match for a more relaxed home, including one with older adults. She is looking for someone to love her as deeply as she will love them.Waffles is ready to leave her past behind and start her next chapter—with that forever family who will cherish her for the incredible companion she is.Name: WafflesBreed: Chihuahua/Crossbreed   (Breed mx is not guaranteed-no DNA testing done).Sex: FemaleAge: 5 years  (estimated)Weight: 21.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Positive on recent testing.
