Solomon is a 7-year-old min pin and chihuahua mix I believe, and he loves to sing. He loves to listen to music and some of his favorite artists are Michael Jackson, Chris Brown and Drake. Solomon is house broken and loves to sit and watch people out of the front door and windows. He loves being outside and loves walks in the park and around the neighborhood. Solomon does not tear things up like mail, toilet paper, socks, or trash. He also loves to cuddle and be rubbed. Solomon hates baths and water but I give him a bath anyway telling him that he has to be clean. He loves treats and his favorite treat is duck wrapped sweet potato from Wal Mart. Solomon loves bones and his favorite toy is Lamb Chop or any bear that he can tussle with. Solomon does growl sometimes when he sees other dogs and cats. He also runs after birds if he sees them and barks. Slow introductions are needed with dogs, cats, and children. Solomon does get protective of his person, so he would do best in a home with no children and perhaps just one adult that he can bond with. This sweet, sweet boy has been raised and cared for with great love and kindness, but suddenly he has been uprooted from his lifelong home and scheduled to be killed for no reason other than his family was broken and he had nowhere to go. Rescue stepped in at the last moment and we are so happy we did. He is perfectly housebroken, up to date on all his shots, loves other dogs, cats, has shown himself to be fine with children. In short, he is the whole package of a great dog! The part about loving other dogs? He was living with his best friends, Kyler, Mackie, and Nala when his world crashed. They all loved each other and did perfectly together. If you were thinking of getting a pair of dogs (or more?), here they are, ready made and easy. Meet Parker! This precious little guy is 4 years old and about 12 lbs. Evidently Parker did not have a very good life prior to joining Critter Cavalry. We think he was bullied by another dog. He is a 'sit on the sidelines and watch' kinda guy who doesn't really want to play with anyone. He doesn't mind the other dogs and definitely is not mean. He would just rather be with people. Parker is super sweet and loves people. He just wants to be where his foster mom is. Parker would be a wonderful companion for someone that just wants one dog and who would like a dog they can take places. He would love that and would love to be friends with all your friends. He is just precious and very friendly. He gentlY smells you to make sure you are OK and then he is good. He was smiling during his photo shoot and seemed to enjoy all the attention. Story

Timmy is a 5 1/2 year old Chihuahua mix who weighs 14 lbs. He and his buddy Ebony were surrendered to a rural middle Tennessee shelter in July. He didn't understand why this happened to them and was really scared at first. He took him a little while to settle in and he has now blossomed into a wonderful, happy and friendly little guy. Timmy gets along well with other dogs both his size and larger. He loves to hang out in his foster mom's fenced in yard and has a good time playing with his foster brothers and sisters. They also have a large fenced in field where everyone goes for daily exercise. Timmy just loves it. He would do best in a home with another dog who will be his buddy. He would not do well as an only dog. Timmy also loves people. He likes being with his foster mom and is always up for a movie or ballgame. He would love to snuggle with you at night as well. Timmy would make a great addition to the right home. He is a sweet little guy. Timmy is housebroken, doggie door trained and he can walk on a leash. He has been neutered and is current on all his shots, heartworm negative, on monthly preventative and microchipped. Oliver is one of the most handsome Chihuahuas we have ever presented for adoption and it just the young age of 2 years and 10 lb, we know he will be adopted soon. His sweet personality just endears everyone to him when they meet him. This boy in a few of the pictures you can see is just so confused about why his photos are being made. He was displaced from his home because the owner had way too many dogs and she had to choose him since he was one of the youngest and ask for us to rehome him. Some of her older dogs would not be adopted so she sacrifices very dear soul to go into rescue and be neutered and all of the vetting done that he deserved. She could not financially do it. Oliver is housebroken pretty much and we'll just need a little bit of time in a forever home to get the schedule right. He is great with other dogs big and small and cats. He wants to sleep with you in bed and he wants to have reassurance that he will never be moved again. Our precious Oliver needs and adoption miracle. We're looking for a family that can give him a future for the next 15 years. Walks out in the world for exercise and adventures at outdoor festivals for family reunions or vacations at the beach where they allow dogs. This sweet boy will be a showstopper for someone. People will comment on what a beautiful and sweet boy because they are doing that now with the foster mom.
