Story
Sophia is a one-year-old Chihuahua mix with a sweet personality and a loving disposition. After she came into rescue with us, she gave birth to one baby and has proven to be a fine mama dog. She only weighs between 10 and 12 pounds, and so we ask that any child in the home be accustomed to handling small dogs. Sophia is extremely friendly and loves playing with any size dog! Such a sweetheart! (posted 5/24/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **May 23, 2025, 2:50 pm

Good with dogs,
Story
Meet Auggie! We just welcomed this chihuahua mix with striking coloring, a handsome little face, and a heart full of love. He’s friendly, charming, and already stealing hearts left and right. Auggie was dumped at a shelter by his owner because "he was getting old and going blind." We scooped him up right away and are determined to find him the safe and loving forever home he deserves. The shelter volunteers described him as one of the friendliest dogs they've ever had - and we can see why. He's super social, loves being pet, and is always ready to give kisses. He doesn't even mind nail trims or bathtime! This sweet fun boy is going to be scooped up fast by some lucky family. Could it be yours? Auggie is approximately 12 years old and 13 lbs. More details to follow as we get to know him better.

Story
Luna, Baby, Winter, Sunshine, and Chiquese all came to us from the same home after their owner became ill. Of course any of them can be adopted together, but we (and them) are happy to find a home to call their own, even if that means separately. Obviously they are ok with each other, so they seem relatively ok with other dogs. While at the shelter, they seemed to not mind passing the cats. They all are easy walkers and seem like lower energy dogs.If you are looking for a friendly small dog, you have 5 to pick from!  Keep in mind, their whole lives just changed, they may need some time to come around adapting to a new home, people, other animals (as does any dog getting adopted). Primary Color: Tan Weight: 15.1 Age: 2yrs 5mths 2wks
