Story
Mariah is about 9 years old. She is very loving. She absolutely loves kids! She is great with other animals. She very protective, so when someone comes in unknown she will bark and let you know. She does use puppy pads inside the house at night. She will tell you most of the time to use the bathroom outside. I need to fund her a new home because I am currently living in a motel and we are about to move to a place with no animals allowed unfortunately. She is an amazing little dog and we love her so much. Looking for a good home for her.

Story
Hi there I'm Sunny Bear and thats exactly what I do -spread sunshine all day everywhere. My previous employer needed to relocate me because they didn't feel well. I really had high hopes for working directly with Sandy paws at the nort pol but I got signed here as CEO of operations Salisbury branch. I'm a busy guy who likes to see an efficient well run organization and this one is top notch. I'm looking high and low to problem solve. But really there is not much work to be done. I walk the kennels looking for ways to improve, interviewing all the department heads, and supervising production of toys. Gosh, I go up to every dog no problem and cats too. I do take breaks in my office. I really like to hop in volunteers laps and get some nice cuddles. Then back to work. I like being with people the best. I guess that why Santa needed me here to help out Kringle And the staff. Soon the busy season will be over so I'd like to hop in the sleigh and be delivered to your house. No, we don't do chimneys anymore. Front door is fine. I'm ready to improve efficiency at your house. Get everyone in line, improve cuddle output. Get ready to jingle bells all the way home. I'm ready to move up the love ladder. 🟢🐶👍🟢🐈‍⬛👍🐾Low medium busy energy. Walks recommended to use up some energy.🐾❤️I Will thrive in a peaceful and quiet home where I can receive alot of attention. Story
Lil' Zoey has been brought to us to be a very special part of someone's life. Perhaps an early delivery from Santa himself! She is much too modest to tell us her story so her sissy has offered her voice..."My sissy is the sweetest little bon bon you ever did meet. I look out for her. We are a good team. Zoey has been through alot. I give her comfort and confidence. She is timid, reserved and moderately slow to trust ....but loving once she does. She is content being in the room with her hooman friends, she is warming up to affection. Slow is best for her comfort. She needs a quiet home. She's my best friend and I've asked Santa if he will find the perfect home for her. I hope I can go with her too. That would be so nice."✅ The crate is her safe space. She will thrive in a new home that sets her up for success and gives her her own space to feel secure. ⚠️ She needs some work with potty training and building confidence to go outside. ⚠️Zoey was very scared when she first arrived and stressed. She would sound the "leave me alone alarm yelp" if anyone tried to pet her or pick her up. She seems to move cautiously and does not like being petted on her lower back. Her foster mom has this to say:"Seeing her warm up over the past few days has been so rewarding. She has started to give tail wags and gently put her front feet on us to greet us. "Zoey will likely need a person who takes this slowly. not recommend kids based on her current behavior. She does not respond well to fast movements and usually runs away or tries to hide. If you find it in your heart to give Zoey a peaceful quiet home(❌No wild parties for her, she's an introvert) please send you app in quickly.✅She will thrive with one or two adults who will give her time and space to open up. Her comfort with hoomans can't be rushed.⚠️Not a candidate for a household with kids. ✅Ok with animals her size that will not crowd her or expect a lot if interaction.✅8 pounds. Low energy level.✅Adorable front tooth that will melt your heart, soft diet preferred.Zoey has done well in her foster home with Lacy May and other animals she has seen at a separated distance. Her foster parents have done an amazing job making sure she has not been overwhelmed. We recommend following the two week shut down protocol for a smooth transition into her new life. We are excited she will finally get the opportunity to live a great life being well taken care of. Primary Color: Fawn Secondary Color: Black Weight: 7.7 Age: 12yrs 0mths 1wks

Story
ABOUT TINI Little Miss Tini is ready for her forever home! Tini came to HAP from a high-intake shelter in Georgia when they no longer had space for her. She is definitely still getting used to this colder Delaware weather! Thankfully, Tini loves to get bundled up in her sweater or jacket and head out to explore the world. Tini is quite the brave little girl as she's always up for meeting new friends - both human and canine alike! She can be a little overwhelmed when meeting new dogs but may do well with another dog with a slow introduction. Besides going out on walks and making new friends, one of Tini's favorite things to do is to hop up and make herself at home on your lap! This girl definitely needs a good snuggle buddy in her life - even better if there's belly rubs involved! We've also learned that Tini loves her toys and sometimes will try to take them out and about with her. Though she does forget about them pretty quickly but we always tell her it's the thought that counts! So what do you say? Are you ready for a HAPpily ever after with Miss Tini? Stop by today and come say hey to Tini! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
