MEET THIS DYNAMIC DUO QUINOA & OAT Hello, I'm Quinoa, the Chihuahua, and I'm Oat, the Terrier. We're a bonded pair of adorable 10-month-old girls looking for a home together. Even though we know it may be hard to find a home together, it would break our hearts to be separated. In our foster home, we get along well with the cats and bigger dogs. If there are kids in the home, older kids would be best and we require a fenced yard. Quinoa: My foster mom says I'm the most lovable little dog in the universe. I enjoy cuddling and snuggling, especially when she calls me "Lovey." I'm a bit more timid than my sister, Oat, and I like staying close to Mom. Playing with my sister is my favorite thing to do, besides cuddling. I'm pretty good at going potty outside, but I don't like it much, so Mom usually carries me out. I weigh 14 lbs. Sometimes, if something startles or scares me, I have some dribbles. But Mom says it's okay, even people have accidents when they're scared. Oat: I'm the more outgoing one between us. I love car rides and adventures! Life, to me, is one big adventure, and I can't wait to start each day. When I'm not exploring, I love being held and carried around. Cuddling with our foster mom in the evenings is the perfect end to my day. I'm doing great with potty training. I can make it outside almost every time. Occasionally, I forget and potty in the house, but I'm trying hard. I'm not a fan of walking on a leash; I'd much rather be carried. At only 10 pounds, I'm pretty easy to carry. My favorite things are playing with my sister and the other dogs, snack time, playing with my toys, and of course, adventuring! We're hoping to find a family that will love us and treat us like the most wonderful beings in the world.

We think she is a Chihuahua/dachshund/min pin mix but we aren't sure so we just call her our Texas Special, the very best breed. She is being fostered with 2 other small dogs and her dog sitter has 8 dogs- she gets along great! The Cutest Thing About Seattle: Seattle absolutely adores cuddling and loves to playfully wrestle with your hands. She’s a total sweetheart that loves affection. She loves to wrestle with your hands! Potty Trained: Yes! Seattle is potty trained! Crate Trained: Absolutely. She goes right into her crate when told, sleeps soundly all night, and is very comfortable in her space. Home Behavior: Seattle is an affectionate companion who follows you everywhere. She’s very comfortable around the house and has great manners. Energy Level: Moderate. She’s active and loves adventures, but she’s also content to chill and cuddle with you. Social Skills: Seattle is confident on car rides and enjoys the journey. She’s friendly with other dogs one-on-one, especially enjoying playful wrestling with Rainier, another small dog in the house. She does get a bit vocal when new people arrive but is quick to settle once she recognizes you. Play Style: While she enjoys playing with other dogs individually, several other larger dogs at once could be overwhelming for her. Affectionate Nature: Seattle shows her love with sweet neck and arm hugs and is extremely cuddly. She loves to be close to you but will also find her own cozy spot when she's tired. Car Behavior: She is a great travel buddy and would love to join you for morning coffee runs or late night ice cream treats. Leash Manners: Seattle walks well on a leash, but she can be a bit barky at first when passing other dogs. Training and Tricks: Seattle is very food motivated, making her a quick learner. She knows "sit" and can give her paw on command. Living Situation: Seattle can adapt to both houses with yards or apartments with proper exercise. She would prefer to have another dog for company but can also be happy as the only dog with some adjustment. Adventure Level: She loves going on adventure. This sweet girl is Mama Spice. Spice is looking for forever love, in the form of a mellow and kind family. She is kid-friendly, dog-friendly and cat-tolerant, a perfect fit for most animal lovers! Introducing Koby, a charming little dog with a heart full of love and a delightful personality that will bring joy to your life. Koby adores being petted and lovingly nudges your hand, eagerly seeking affection and attention. He’s often found sitting on the couch right by his foster mom’s side. He's social with other dogs; he gets along famously with his furry housemate. This cutie is Nola. She is currently 7 pounds, 4 months old, and we think they may be a Chihuahua mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. The adoption fee is $1,000.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations.
