Faline is a beautiful, petite chihuahua mix (10 lbs) who came to me as a foster. Faline's estimated birthdate is 2021. She was a stray picked up by a good Samaritan and was not doing well in the shelter. Faline needed the extra support because she is fearful and needs someone who will not force her to be touched immediately but will give her time to decompress and choose to solicit interaction. If you are patient with Faline and give her time to get to know you, she becomes VERY affectionate. Faline is a very snuggly girl! She absolutely loves to curl up in your lap and go to sleep. She would be best in a quiet, single-person living situation with few visitors. She does become protective of you and wants you only for herself. She will be your shadow, following you everywhere, and wants nothing more than to lie next to you and be with you. Due to fear, she will growl and bark when she sees a stranger.

Story
Eleanor or as Ellie as she goes by is a spritely older lady who loves belly rubs and loves sitting on your lap. She loves to leave her fur coat a little bit of everywhere :). She will bark to scare away the big bad wolf but will quiet down once she sees her special person(s). We believe she may need some tooth care. She originally belonged to my oldest daughter but when she moved out of state she could not take her(plus Ellie also grew attached to my fiancé.. lol.). Between work and other obligations we just do not have the time to keep up with her. We are hoping to find someone who would love this special little senior lady just as much as we have. We believe she will work best with an adult household( single or couple). She does do well with other dogs ( we have an older bigger female dog and when we introduced them Ellie definitely let her know who was the queen bee and they have gotten along since then - 3 years ago). She loves having a blanket to lay on and snuggle into.
