MEET THIS DYNAMIC DUO QUINOA & OAT Hello, I'm Quinoa, the Chihuahua, and I'm Oat, the Terrier. We're a bonded pair of adorable 1 1/2 year old girls looking for a home together. Even though we know it may be hard to find a home together, it would break our hearts to be separated. In our foster home, we get along well with the cats and bigger dogs. If there are kids in the home, older kids would be best and we require a fenced yard. Quinoa: My foster mom says I'm the most lovable little dog in the universe. I enjoy cuddling and snuggling, especially when she calls me "Lovey." I'm a bit more timid than my sister, Oat, and I like staying close to Mom. Playing with my sister is my favorite thing to do, besides cuddling. I'm pretty good at going potty outside, but I don't like it much, so Mom usually carries me out. I weigh 14 lbs. Sometimes, if something startles or scares me, I have some dribbles. But Mom says it's okay, even people have accidents when they're scared. Oat: I'm the more outgoing one between us. I love car rides and adventures! Life, to me, is one big adventure, and I can't wait to start each day. When I'm not exploring, I love being held and carried around. Cuddling with our foster mom in the evenings is the perfect end to my day. I'm doing great with potty training. I can make it outside almost every time. Occasionally, I forget and potty in the house, but I'm trying hard. I'm not a fan of walking on a leash; I'd much rather be carried. At only 10 pounds, I'm pretty easy to carry. My favorite things are playing with my sister and the other dogs, snack time, playing with my toys, and of course, adventuring! We're hoping to find a family that will love us and treat us like the most wonderful beings in the world.

Story
Ready to find the Robin to your Batman? Well look no further because Robin is the perfect fun sized side kick that you will always be able to count on. He loves a good lap to snuggle on, will sneak in kisses when you're not looking, and has a spunky playful side to him that will make you giggle for days. Meet Robin: https://youtu.be/lSH_xw7kgqc?si=kg4vpiXWXLTx6Mzh Robin is a Chihuahua mix approximately 2 years old and currently weighs about 12 lbs. He's a tiny little guy that is the perfect size for couch cuddles. Robin is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Robin has a heart of gold with a little bit of spice sprinkled in there that just adds to his charm. At first, Robin can seem a bit reserved - he likes to take his time getting to know people and other dogs before he shows his true colors. But once he feels comfortable, his loyalty and spunky personality shines through. It does not take long for Robin's personality to shine through either! He is a sucker for spray cheese, rice krispies LOL, and all the snacky snacks. He can't resist them. Robin is such a character with so much personality it'll be hard to not smile around him, especially when you dress him up in little outfits. He'll prance around like he's walking in the Paris fashion show strutting his stuff showing off his wardrobe. That's the fun spunky side of him that we and his foster's love about him in addition to his sweet snuggly side too. Robin loves to snuggle and sit in your lap while you watch a movie or binge your favorite tv show. Robin is dog friendly and is currently living in a home with other dogs of all sizes and does great with them. He does take some time to get to know other dogs and when he is isn't quite there yet, he will give a little growl just to let them know he wants some space but once he's comfortable you'll catch him snuggling and playing with your other dogs. His best friend in his foster home is another small dog that has a playful side to her and also enjoys those calmer relaxing moments as well. Robin loves to wrestle with her and bounce around on the bed like a little bunny rabbit. He shares treats and affection with other dogs too. Again, he just needs time to warm up and get comfortable and then he's your dog's bestie. If you don't have other dogs, that's fine too! Robin does not need the company of other dogs to keep him entertained or feel comfortable, he'll need that time to open up with or with out other dogs. Robin is also cat-friendly and could happily coexist with feline friends. He met our house cat numerous times and each time, he was avoidant and didn't bother him. This sweet boy is ready to bring love, comfort, and companionship into your life. We can see Robin living in a home with a backyard or even an apartment that is more residential rather than in the heart of downtown city environment. He walks well on a leash and is potty trained and crate trained. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate friend who will always be by your side, Robin could be the perfect match for you! MEET HAZEL GRACE! Fostering Hazel Grace has been an absolute joy! Her foster has been calling her Gracie and she is the perfect mix of playful and snuggly! She loves romping with other dogs her size and is just as happy curling up in your lap for TV time or a cozy nap. Whatever you are doing, Gracie wants to be right there with you. Gracie is now house-trained and does well with supervision in a new environment. Crate-trained and a great sleeper, she happily goes into her crate for meals, bedtime, and when left alone for short periods. She eats best in her crate to stay focused and avoid distractions. Gracie is incredibly smart and picks up commands quickly. She knows to wait at doors and gates, “here” to come when called, “get back”, “leave it alone”, and “off” to not jump up on me to keep all four paws on the ground. With her long legs, speed, and eagerness to learn, she would love to try agility! Since we have spent a lot of time indoors during the colder months, she can be a bit cautious with new people but warms up quickly. She requires a home with a playful small dog companion and a fenced backyard to explore. Gracie is ready to bring her playful spirit and loving snuggles to her forever home!

Story
**Fostered in Corvallis, OR and ready for meet and greets!** Meet Melanie Maple Bar – The Sweetest Treat! Do you love patisseries? Oui, Oui! Well then, Melanie Maple Bar is the perfect pup for you! This extra sweet girl is about 4.5 months old and has been thriving in the PNW since arriving at her foster home. We believe Melanie is a Chittie (a Chihuahua/Pittie mix—aka the ultimate Texas Special), but with rescue, it’s always a bit of a guess. She’s currently a petite 25 pounds and will likely grow to be around 35-45 pounds. With her stunning maple-red coat, big ol’ ears, and slightly wrinkly face, she’s as adorable as she is unique! Melanie is incredibly smart—she’s had only one accident since arriving and is just about 100% potty trained. Her foster mom has even taught her to ring a bell when she needs to go out! She’s fostered with a teenager (who she adores) and enjoys zooming around outside with her doggy foster sibling. Toys and bones? Yes, please! Melanie loves them all (and might destroy them, so stock up!). She also has a deep love for blankets and is great at keeping herself entertained. But don’t let that fool you—this girl is a professional lap dog who loves curling up for a nap. She’s working on her manners (learning not to jump) and will need a family committed to her continued training. If you're looking for a mix of playful, smart, and cuddly, Melanie Maple Bar is the perfect pup for you! You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! **Fostered in Marysville, WA and ready for meet and greets!** Meet Hope the Pasadena Sweetheart! She is currently 15 weeks old, only 11 pounds, and we think she may be a small Chihuahua/Pittie mix mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Hope's video here: Hope is simply amazing. She will dazzle you with her good looks and charm you with her endearing personality - this petite girl has it all and she's ready to give it to you, right alongside all her love and adoration! Hope loves to play, and this girl wants - no, she NEEDS - all the toys. (And we mean ALL the toys!) You can't help but laugh watching her stockpile toys and then romp and play with her favourite ones. (Don't worry, she shares toys - she will bring them to your lap and expect to have a seat there, a snuggle, and a relaxing chewtime, too. We absolutely endorse these laptime love sessions!) We adore Hope's joyful attitude and her charm and happiness is contagious. This girl and her zest for gentle puppy play will have you giggling and smiling, and her never-ending quest to deliver all the kisses you can stand will soften every beating heart she meets. She is definitely a people-person (uh, dog), and has never met a stranger - Hope loves everyone. Hope is currently in a loving and experienced foster home with several other dogs, ranging in size and age. She's also great around cats, generally giving them a wide and respectful berth, and chickens too! She has mastered several commands like "sit" already, and is learning to be perfect on leash too. Hope has it all - she is living her best puppy life and all she needs right now is YOU! Hope is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Story
Evie A Gentle Soul Seeking a Patient Home Evie is a tender-hearted approx 2 year old Chihuahua girl who needs time and patience to build trust with new people. She still feels unsure around strangers and prefers to keep her distance until she feels safe. It took her a couple of weeks to trust me enough to curl up in my lap, relax on the couch with me and the other dogs, and seek affection. When she is feeling nervous, she sometimes jumps into my arms for comfort, showing just how much she longs for security. She is wonderful on a leash and travels well, making her a great companion for someone willing to give her the reassurance she needs. At night, Evie sleeps soundly in her kennel in my bedroom. During the day, her kennel stays in the kitchen, serving as her safe space where she can retreat when she needs a break. This is also where she eats with the door closed, as I want to make sure she feels secure during mealtime—she was underfed before arriving here, so she may still feel the need to protect her food. Evie gets along beautifully with my small dogs and does well with my two medium-sized dogs. She is curious about cats but respects their space. She has also made great progress with house training, using the dog/cat door to go outside. On particularly cold or wet days, she will use a potty pad inside. For the past few weeks, she has had no accidents, and I make sure to take her outside first thing in the morning. Evie is smart and resourceful and she will counter surf if given the opportunity and can clear a 3-foot fence with ease. A securely fenced yard with no potential launch points will be important to keep her safe. Her ideal forever home will be with someone who understands that trust takes time. A patient adopter and a confident dog companion is required. Though I work from home, she is content to hang out in her kennel or find a cozy spot in the house. With love, stability, and a gentle hand, Evie will blossom into a devoted and loving companion. Fully fenced yard required, chain link will not work.
