This is Olive, a sweet very loving and affectionate 18#, 4 year old Chihuahua mix. 🐶 Olive is a truly sweet girl who wants nothing more than to be with her favorite person. She will follow her person everywhere & just wants to be close and loved. The issue for us is that she is a very jealous dog & our other dog just can’t compete with Olives unwavering determination to get all our attention. Neither are happy with the arrangement. Super lovable & sweet, Emotionally attaches easily, non-aggressive with other animals, potty trained, very-very smart & food motivated, Travels easily, Never been destructive. Is Needy. HAS to sleep right next to you in bed. Don’t even try any other arrangement. 😆 Will snatch food from plates and kids, can get barky. You need secure fencing. She is energetic and lively. Betty was born without eyeballs, so she is blind. But her other senses are keen and well honed. Betty also has deformed legs that caused her gate to be slower and less efficient than your average four-legged creature. She learns her surroundings quickly and has even surprised her foster parent by teaching herself how to use the dog door. Betty goes to the park every day to get exercise. She loves being in the grass and basking in the sunshine. Goin go on walks is not Betty’s style. She would rather run for short distances and then sit down and rest. The couch is Betty’s favorite place to snuggle. She loves to sit in your lap, roll over onto her back and have her belly rubbed. She loves to be held and sometimes she gets to go for a ride in a dog bag that her foster parent wears around her shoulders. If it’s not too hot outside, Betty also enjoys sitting on the patio of a winery or a brewery. She is social and likes to be pet by everyone. Betty currently lives with a couple of other dogs. Sometimes Betty shows aggression by running toward a dog and growling. However, this behavior has gotten better over time and with continued love, and behavioral correction, it should continue to improve. Although crate trained, Betty will sometimes pee on soft surfaces that are not in her crate, like other dogs’ beds. So, creating a regular potty schedule will be important for Betty, she does GREAT with a regular potty routine. Betty has not been spayed yet as our vet was concerned about surgery at her size. She is currently on a weight management dog food, getting exercise and is losing weight slowly. The rescue will arrange to have her spayed once she hits a better weight at no cost to the adopter.

He needed some physical TLC but his personality is absolutely perfect. He is hoping to find his loving forever home asap! While Benny has some scars from past injuries, he doesn’t let that, or his age slow him down. He is an active boy who bonds easily with humans. He’ll boof or bark at things he thinks need your attention (like, a squirrel or someone walking down the street), but will easily come back if you call him. Walking is a must for him because he really enjoys exploring with his nose. However he is happy running around the yard with his foster friends and making sure all the leaves have his smell on them. But no worries, he doesn’t mark in the house! Benny is also extremely cuddly and sweet and craves attention. He is happy to sit on your lap but prefers to lean or lie on your chest. Little kisses and nudging for more pets are abundant. If you need a break though, he is happy to snuggle next to you on a couch or a bed. He bonds easily with humans and aims to please them. Benny also recently was neutered and had a dental. He will need soft food or soaked kibble for the rest of his life because so many teeth had to be removed recently. He is also microchipped and vaccinated. Benny would do great in a variety of homes, as he is good with other dogs (big and small), and cats. Little kids may make him nervous, he will bark, which may be scary for the child. We don’t have any known history with children, so it would be a case by case basis with seeing how he would do and to make sure the kids give him his space when he needs it. MEET MILO & OSCAR! These sweet 2-year-old bonded brothers need a foster or forever home! Milo & Oscar were rescued about a year ago from a California shelter, and they are now in Washington State. They were adopted but are losing their home due to unforeseen circumstances (no fault of their own), and we are currently looking for a foster or forever home for them. Both dogs are extremely affectionate and like to be on someone’s lap or to be petted or scratched. They’re both great with new people, and they love everyone. Milo & Oscar also follow commands such as sit, stay, and come. They’re very good about coming when called. Oscar, who is about 21 lbs., is a bit more athletic and will be the first to race outside and explore the yard. Milo, who is about 13 lbs., is more playful, loves to play with his toys (and sometimes destroys them), and is almost always the first to instigate playing with Oscar. They’re both very good about having their nails trimmed and getting brushed. Neither likes getting a bath too much, though! They are also crate-trained and they sleep close together at night.
