Story
Meet Casper, a sweet and affectionate 2-year-old poodle mix weighing in at just 6 pounds! Currently fostered in Milwaukee, WI, Casper is on the lookout for a loving, understanding home where he can thrive. Despite his rough start in life—coming from a neglectful and abusive situation—he's shown incredible resilience and is ready to open his heart to the right family.
Casper is a true snuggler who loves affection and will happily curl up with you after a long day. He can be a bit shy around new people and dogs at first, but with patience, he warms up quickly and reveals his playful, loving nature. He has not been exposed to cats but does great with the bird he is currently living with. Casper does best in a home with older children who understand the importance of respecting his space, as he is a bit afraid of younger kids who might overwhelm him.
Casper is potty trained and has been doing wonderfully off-leash with great recall. He also walks well on a leash, making him a perfect companion for outdoor adventures. His past may have been difficult, but his future is full of potential with a family who will continue to show him love and care. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion and have the patience to help him settle in, Casper could be your perfect match!
