Story
Grant is a lovable Cavapoo who is turning 4 in May. He is the perfect blend of playful and affectionate—athletic enough to enjoy walks and playtime, but also a total cuddle bug who loves being close to his people. Grant is potty trained, knows basic commands like “sit,” and listens well to his owners. He is great with people and gets along with calm, laid-back dogs. He prefers a quieter environment and can get a little anxious when things are really busy or chaotic, so a home with a more relaxed vibe would be ideal for him. He would make a wonderful companion for an older couple or a family with a calm lifestyle. Whether you are looking for a loyal sidekick or a new best friend, Grant is ready to bring a lot of love into your home. We are heartbroken to rehome him due to an upcoming move, but we are committed to finding him the perfect match. We are looking for a local adopter in the Central Ohio area who can meet us for pickup.

Adopting a Cavapoo

Frequently asked questions about acquiring an Cavapoo - the pros and cons of adopting versus going through a breeder, and associated costs.

The easiest way to adopt a Cavapoo is through a rescue that specializes in the breed. You can start by doing a breed search on Adopt a Pet. The search will show you all the available Cavapoos in your area.

Adopting a Cavapoo from a rescue costs less than buying one from a breeder. The cost of adopting a Cavapoo is around $300, which covers the expenses of caring for the dog before adoption. In contrast, buying a purebred Cavapoo puppy from a breeder can be very expensive — thousands of dollars, depending on their lineage, size, and color. The price of an average Cavapoo from a reputable breeder is $2,500 to $5,000. Of course, we’d love for you to go the adoption route. If you are set on a certain breed, please also consider breed-specific rescues.
