Meet Kimberly! The sweet and snuggly poodle looking for her forever home. Kimberly is a nine-year old poodle with the softest curls and the sweetest eyes you’ll ever see. She was part of a breeder surrender and now she’s ready to enjoy the good life as someone’s cherished companion. This little lady is friendly and gentle, though she can be shy when meeting new people. She thrives with slow introductions and a calm environment. Kimberly is not suite for homes with children as she is very timid around them, but she’s a true gem with adults one she feels safe.Her favorite pastime is playing with her beloved scrunchy “shaker” toy and then curling up in bed for snuggles. She’s not a fan of crates, likely due to her past, but she’s very happy to hang out freely with her humans. She is not destructive when alone. Kimberly does well with dogs of all sizes as long as they are calm, and would love a canine friend to help her feel secure.She’s nearly housetrained, using potty-pads reliably. She’s up to date on vaccinations and recently had a dental and is spayed. If you have a gentle heart, a quiet home, and the patience to let Kimberly blossom at her own pace, she’ll reward you with unconditional love, sweet companionship, and plenty of tail wags. Meet Hooligan!Hooligan is a sweet, affectionate 2 year-old miniature poodle mix little guy who is happiest snuggled up right next to his person. He forms strong bonds and loves being part of the daily routine. When he first arrived at his foster, he was unsure about being left alone—but he quickly learned that his foster mom always comes back! Now he relaxes on the couch by the window with his foster brother while she’s at work from 9–5 like a champ. He’s a quick learner and eager to please.Don’t let his tiny size fool you—Hooligan happily conquers 3-mile walks and has learned to walk nicely on a leash. He enjoys exploring the yard, “patrolling” with his foster brother, and even keeps a close eye on the TV!Because of his past, Hooligan becomes very distressed in a crate and needs a home where he can safely roam freely. He is fully house-trained when it comes to going #2 (not a single accident!) and consistently potties outside. He is still working on marking, but with guidance and consistency, he’s improving every day. While his foster mom is at work, he wears a belly band as a precaution. At night, he goes out around 8pm and then sleeps quietly beside his foster mom all night long without a peep.Hooligan greets you with excitement, has adorable little bursts of energy, and then is perfectly content just being by your side. He will do fine as the only dog in the home, but he would prefer a companion. This sweet girl came to us during a recent family loss. She was neglected and has lived outside almost her whole life. I have potty and crate trained her. Despite limited socialization with other dogs, she remained gentle and affectionate with people. When we brought her into our home, it became clear that she is not comfortable living with other dogs. She reacted defensively toward our resident dog, and for everyone’s safety, we made the difficult decision that our home is not the right long-term fit for her. With people, she is calm, loving, and eager for connection. She enjoys attention, is respectful, and has a sweet, soulful presence. She does best in quiet environments and would thrive as the only pet, where she can finally feel safe and secure. We are committed to finding her a home or rescue that understands her history and can offer her stability, patience, and a dog-free space to decompress and be loved.
