Story
We adopted this sweet boy at APS Durham. He is so cuddly, gentle, energetic, plays well with other dogs, great on the leash, does amazingly in the car. He loves all toys and comfy beds! Energy when you want, calm when you need. He is very obedient and a quick learner. He is the total package! We are looking to rehome due to our other dog not adjusting well to another dog in the home.

Story
**UPDATE** Due to my other dog's declining health, I am seeking short-term fostering (likely 3 months, possibly less) rather than rehoming for Little Bear. Little Bear is a beautiful 3 year old, 27 lb dream boy who does the best head tilts and likes to be held like a little lamb. He is mellow, snuggly, goofy, gentle, and generally quiet. He thrives around other dogs, and is wary-to-afraid of cats. It is very important to him that he be in daily contact with other dogs. Little Bear is a perfect angel and I would keep him if I could! Unfortunately, my pre-existing dog, who is blind and elderly, wants to murder him - so it is not safe or fair for Little Bear or my other dog to continue living together. Little Bear was originally rescued from a hoarding situation in VA in May 2025 and I adopted him a month later. I'm so proud of how he's flourished and adapted to living in a normal home. He is so resilient and open-hearted despite what he's been through!
