Story
Just like her name suggests, Joya is an absolute JOY! She is a well mannered and quiet companion, who loves a daily walk and a few "zoomies" and then is content to nap by your side for the rest of the day. She'll just sit on your lap and rest her head on you and be perfectly content to stay there. Joya is 8, but you'd never know it. She loves to play with squeaky toys (any toys, really!), and loves playing with other dogs (however would be best with dogs over 20 pounds) She walks great on a leash, loves going for car rides, and is well potty trained-she'll rub on you like a cat when she wants to go. Midwest Animal ResQ offers a 30-day adjustment period within which you can evaluate the pet's progress and your adoption decision. If, within those 30 days, you determine your recently adopted pet isn't a good fit, you may return the animal and receive a MARQ credit that can be used toward the adoption of another animal. Our biggest priority is finding the very best match for you, and Completing Families one Tail at a Time! All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, Heartworm tested, and current on vaccinations and preventions prior to adoption. Our shelter is located at 10312 East 63rd Street in Raytown, MO. We are open to meet pets Tuesday through Friday from 10-6, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10-5. We are closed on Mondays.
