Meet Maple, an 18-pound female Cavapoo mill survivor who recently found sanctuary with SRC. Maple is estimated to be 2-3 years old and is up to date on shots, spayed, and microchipped. Her shyness and cautious nature will require a gentle touch and a patient heart. Initially fearful around new humans, Maple needs time to get to know the people in her life, but her true, loving nature shines through once she feels safe. Maple finds great comfort in the company of other dogs. Having a furry companion in her future home will be essential for her well-being and happiness. With time and patience, Maple will warm up and reveal her amazing sweet personality. This sweet girl needs an understanding adopter who will give her the space and time to grow into a brave dog she is meant to be. She absolutely requires a fence and a home with older children. We adopted Thelma a month ago, and she just is not a good fit for our family. She is super sweet, but doesnt mesh well with other animals. I adopted her from a breeder, who was got to use to go breed, but decided against it.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.This resilient 7-year-old poodle has been through a lot but is now ready for a loving home. Found on the streets with one of the worst cases of matting we’ve ever seen, his hair was so long it touched the ground. Sadly, neighborhood kids threw rocks at him as he ran through the streets, terrified and alone. It took an experienced trapper to safely bring him to our facility, where he arrived shaking and too scared to be touched by anyone. However, with time, patience, and care, he has blossomed into a wonderful companion. He now enjoys daily walks, loves being pet, gets the excitement zoomies, and gets along well with other dogs. He is a laid-back boy who especially gets excited for his leash time, happily joining other dogs on walks. He seems to be potty/house trained, as he will wait to use the bathroom when he gets walked. Fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, this sweet poodle is ready to find his forever home. His adoption fee is $300. Could you be the one to give him the love he deserves?  Marley is currently in Texas, but transport is available to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, or anywhere along the East Coast. Please note that an additional transport fee of $225 applies. Get to know Wilma: Wilma's a simple gal, a southern belle, and currently recovering from a bad injury- she was found outside a "car repair" place.... they didn't know how to repair a puppy so she was taken to the rescue after she was found. It was a really scary and sad situation but for Wilma, it started her REAL life- one of love and eating regularly and having HOPE! She's an absolute cutie with her scruffy ears and few spots on her white coat. She has a pretty smile and loves to wag her tail. The rescue people think Wilma is a Standard Poodle/Sheepdog mix... she has such a wonderful and outgoing personality. She is great with all people she meets and the smile she shares will melt everyone's heart, so be prepared!!! She'll be living a bit more laid back right now as her recovery process progresses. No high energy play or crazy activities. But that won't be for long!!! She is still a pup and now that she is fixed up and fed well and LOVED by the rescue people, she has LOTS OF FUN and LOTS OF ENERGY :) Local adoption fee is $400 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $600 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
