Story
Our beloved, sweet Calvin needs a new home. He was recently diagnosed with diabetes and has gone blind so it's not safe for him to live on a ranch with coyotes, electric fences, and rambunctious small children who frighten him. Calvin is cuddly and affectionate and would be the perfect companion to older adults. He needs regular insulin injections 12 hours apart as well as glucose monitoring. He has responded well to his initial treatment so will be able to provide years of companionship if his blood sugar is managed consistently. Calvin has a wonderful disposition. He loves meeting new people, gets along well with other dogs, and behaves well for vet appointments and groomers. He travels well in cars and airplanes, where he fits under the seat, and has enjoyed many trips in our RV. He has been well cared for with regular vet appointments and is microchipped. Cavapoos are not technically hypoallergenic but shed minimally so are good for those with dog allergies.
