Story
Hello Everyone, My name is Jax although my foster Mom also calls me Jacky. I’m a four year old Cavachon who needs a very experienced and savvy adopter. I’m more than just a gorgeous boy so please read my bio carefully. Because I am a “cutie patootie”, I have attracted a lot of interest however my BFK Aunties and foster Mom are going to be very selective as to who gets to meet me. I’m a fairly quiet and reserved pup around other dogs and new people. Once I am comfortable with you, I can blossom and become a wiggly and happy little guy. It takes time, however, to earn my trust. In my short life, and before I became a FurKid, I lived in two different homes. There was no structure or consistency in my life so I had to fend for myself. I often retreated to any quiet place I could find – away from all the activity and commotion. A home with a loving and patient adopter is what I need in order to become the friendly and cuddly pup I am in my soul. My foster Mom says I will definitely choose my human and can then become a wonderful and gentle companion. I’m not the kind of pup you can take to an office as that would not work for me. I also cannot be crowded or smothered with love --or expected to automatically be your best friend. My Ideal Home *My very own special person or couple *An active person or a couple as long as they are home most of the time *No other dogs and NO children *No frequent visitors Experience level: *Have had dogs as an adult *Rescue dog experience *Savvy --and understand dog communication So if you are looking for a companion to share your life, keep you active, are patient and committed to helping me become the bestest little guy I can be, please complete an application and we will be in touch. Bear is a cute shortie. He weights about 45 lbs. He is a friendly and energetic boy who loves to travel, walk, and snuggle with his family. He is ok with other dogs and with kids 5 years and above. He is potty trained, sleeps on his bed/crate, crate trained, walks well on a leash. Unfortunately, the couple who adopted Bear split apart and their new living arrangements do not allow either one to have pets. Bear in in foster care. He will be neutered and vaccines will be up to date. If you are a loving family who can accommodate this 1 year old boy a chance for a loving home, we would be greatly appreciative.
