Whether she’s exploring the outdoors, learning new routines, or simply soaking up time with her people, she brings a sense of joy and curiosity to everything she does. She especially loves playing in the water and does great with bath time, making her a fun and easy companion in more ways than one. She already knows how to sit for treats and responds to a hand signal for “come,” showing just how capable and eager she is to learn. Florence often follows other dogs, looking to them for guidance and companionship, and she truly enjoys having canine friends around her. She does well with other dogs and would do best in a home with older or dog-savvy kids to help set everyone up for success. I arrived as a result of a humane investigation in March of 2026. My sibling had passed away due to severe neglect but fortunately I was saved just in time. I spent most of my first 8 months of life locked up in a cage and deprived of sufficient exercise, sunlight and attention. When I was rescued, I was defeated, but not broken. My spirit and will to survive enabled me to forgive humans that had been so cruel to me and I am now flourishing. Here’s a little about me: � � � � � • Spayed female, born in 2025 •Current on DHLP, Bordetella and rabies vaccines Heartworm negative � Good with kids � Good with cats – I know my boundaries! � House trained (In Progress!) � � � As a young pup, my training will need to continue in my adoptive home. I am learning to walk on leash, still working on house training and am crate trained.
