I was rescued by K-9 Lifesavers from an overcrowded shelter in Appomattox, Virginia along with my sister, Pup Rebekah. I am a young pup full of love and lots of fun. I do great with other dogs, I love playing with them, it's my favorite thing! I can be a tad shy at first, but I warm up quickly. I'm sweet too, I've been told. I'm still learning, but I'm eager to please. At my young age, I am in my prime for training and socialization. I promise to be the best friend you've ever had. Adopting me would mean endless love, companionship, and a loyal friend forever. I can't wait to meet you! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
