Story
We would like to introduce a very special rescue dog to all of you and her name is Pretty Pearl.  Her foster mom says that she has been through fire and back and now she has the character of beautiful PEARL, like in an oyster.  She has  been formed by adversity and yet her spirit is pure sweetness and love.  She has the markings and coloring of a Catahoula mixed with maybe a little Beagle which is what makes her all the more loving and easy going.  At about 5-6 years old and just a perfect medium size at just 40 pounds, she is the perfect companion to someone who lives in a smaller environment like an apartment or a townhouse. She truly has an endearing calmness and mellow approach to life and all the people around her notices this unique quality immediately.  Nothing ruffles her feathers at all.  I take it all in stride and just smooth the edges if needed and keep on going.  This girl is the perfect companion to someone that is in an apartment environment or a townhouse.  She is small, a couch potatoe that will most certainly be an outstanding companion during the winter months when life seems to slow down and cozy companionship is most desired and welcomed.  She was found living outside in horrible conditions and was full of ticks and fleas and very skinny.  Well soon she was introduced to the luxury of an inside lifestyle at her foster home and she has NEVER looked back.  She goes outside to do her potty breaks and rushes right back inside to keep her human fosters company.  Now, if you are outside with her then all is grand.  She is a skilled girl on a leash and if you want a hiking or walking buddy then Pearl is ready to go!   She has had NO accidents in the house since coming to the foster home.  Amazing statistics for a dog that lived outside all her life.  Maybe she truly just feels like being called “Queen” Pearl now.  She sure is being treated like a queen and she wants to stay in that kind of lifestyle.  We think Pretty Pearl will be a wonderful well-kept secret for someone looking for the best companion ever in the world. Pretty Pearl will be the best dog you have ever owned in your life. Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com You won’t regret adopting this girl.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 13, 2024, 9:22 pm

Story
The name is Samson, aka Samsonite :) I am a GORGEOUS Catahoula mixed boy, a mere 33#, I will likely be 45-50# full grown. And my markings?? DUDE! They are off the CHAIN!! Pretty pretty pretty. I can match just about EVERY outfit you wear :) Camouflage- YUP, White-YUP, Gray- YUP, Black- YUP!! I will actually make you look thinner too- how?? I will keep you active too, walking/playing and cuddling all are calorie burning activities! I am a smart and sweet boy with a fun and playful heart. I would do best with another active dog and I even are pretty good with kitties- I just need to know that they will cuddle with me too :) I am learning how to be a fun puppy, my "previous family" surrendered me to the rescue because I was too much puppy for their older dog. Which is fine, except they locked me in a crate away from them all the time and I developed a nervous feeling in a crate. So my foster mom hardly crates me at all, and I am almost fully housetrained- I am learning how to use the bell to let people know when I have to go outside, I am smart so you know that will be done pretty quickly ;) I also have started displaying some extra sensitivity to my foster mom, if she has a migraine I have started hanging out close to her and comforting her when she is so sick. I am so so ready to find my furever home, someone who appreciates my size and fun/active personality!! Hope that is you! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

This friendly young boy is on the calm side, which is a nice surprise given his youth. Toast is not just a good boy, he's a great one! He is sociable, and is always ready to make new friends. He is unsure of other dogs right now, and may need more socialization. He would do best in a home as a single dog. He is great on leash and the perfect size! Toast would do best in a single family home with a yard. If you're seeking a loyal friend, Toast is ready to fill that role. He's not just looking for a home, he's looking for a family. So why not submit an application today and give Toast a chance to be part of yours!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.       Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Story
Meet Geo! This boy has two speeds... sleep and GO GO GO :) He is an energetic pup and he is a puppy and would be a great great family dog with several kids who will play with him for hours... and hours... and he will wear THEM out too :) Kids need to be older just because he is a BIG boy and plays HARD. Geo has to tell you a couple of things too.... "If you look at the picture of me walking MYSELF on the leash, you will see that I come pre-loaded and ready to hike it all over the place with you :) So, I am a BIG BIG puppy. The rescuers are sure I am a Catahoula mixes with Hound- If you look at my gorgeous markings and the sheer size of my HEAD you will see a truly GORGEOUS boy. And I am like a big teenager, kind of goofy, kind of awkward and kind of cute- with more FEET than head... I am learning all my "good boy" tricks too... SiT, COME and WAIT. I am pretty potty trained, except when I get distracted.... which happens with ADHD puppies. SNIFFING and FETCH are my FUN games. I can't WAIT until you adopt me, so HURRY!!! Oops... hurry and do what?? ADOPT ME!!!" Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
