ABOUT LINCOLN & LEROY Meet Lincoln! He was born and raised on a farm with his brother, Leroy. When they were younger, he and his brother would hunt hogs and deer, that is why you may notice that they have some marks and scars. Lincoln is a source of comfort for Leroy, who can be nervous without his brother. These two sweet babies are a bonded pair so they would have to be adopted together; However, they are both very well-mannered boys. Lincoln walks well on leash, and appears to be potty trained. Both he and his brother are smart and know sir! Lincoln loves to give kisses and cuddle, sometimes he can get a bit jealous if you give too much attention to his brother, and he will cry. Come meet Lincoln and give both boys a chance! **NOTE: Lincoln and Leroy are a bonded pair and would prefer to be adopted together! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
We'll also keep you updated on Leroy (Bonded with Lincoln)'s adoption status with email updates.

When they were younger, he and his brother would hunt hogs and deer together, that is why you may notice that they have some marks and scars. When they are not together, Leroy appears to look for Lincoln, but when they are together Leroy is a lot happier and more confident. Leroy is a sweet boy who loves to give kisses and cuddle. "Get your motor runnin'! Head out on the highway! Looking for adventure and whatever comes our way!!!" That is one pawsome song right? My name is Wanda! I am 2 year old Catahoula mix :) looking for an ACTIVE family! They say I'm a very smart cookie, that sounds amazing!!! Who doesn't like cookies?! I know sit, fetch and learning to drop it. I have doggie friends and I've met the kitties and they are ok too! I am still a little nervous with new people and sometimes like to bork at them so they know I'm there. Foster mom is teaching me so many cool things all the time. I am crate trained and I LOOOVE belly rubs! I would do great with an active family that likes to go on hikes, adventures and give me lots of chewy toys and stimulate my growing mind! If you like to have a good time like me, have your people get with my people and let's get this pawty started!!! Local (Texas) adoption fee is $200 Out of state (Transport) adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Introducing Hondo, the loyal and brave companion you've been waiting for! Hondo is a true good boy, showcasing his friendly nature with both people and fellow furry friends. He strikes the perfect balance between confident and respectful, making him a wonderful addition to any household dynamic. While Hondo may be a bit head shy when it comes to leashes, it's a trait rooted in his past experiences - his ears once caused him discomfort. But with patience and understanding, he's slowly overcoming this challenge. This resilience highlights his adaptable nature and willingness to grow. Crate training is a breeze for Hondo, reflecting his cooperative spirit. He's well-versed in the art of sitting and enjoys eating a peaceful meal. These traits make him a joy to train and a promising companion for both new and experienced pet owners. Hondo's ideal home is one that's lively and active, as he thrives in an environment where he can stretch his legs and engage in the joyful act of running. With a strong recall foundation already in place, he's open to further fine-tuning this skill. This warrior-dog's name is music to his ears, and he responds to it with enthusiasm. Though his recall could use a bit more polish, his eagerness to learn shines through. Hondo's adaptable and resourceful nature, coupled with his receptive attitude, make him a loyal partner for all your adventures. If you're seeking a four-legged friend who embodies both resilience and companionship, look no further than Hondo. He's ready to stand by your side and show you the depths of his affectionate heart. Don't hesitate to welcome this valiant spirit into your home! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
