Hi! I'm CJ, and I'm a 50 pound cattle dog mix, about 5 years old. I like everyone I meet, canine or human. No one is a stranger to me! My favorite things:-Making canine and human friends-Belly rubs, naps, and cuddling-Food!-Walks with stops to smell things. What I'm looking for in a home:-Another dog friend! (preferred but not required)-Either a yard, or someone that enjoys spending time outside and lets me sniff around-People who are home a lot and wont leave me alone too much! I'm the bestest boy and am ready to settle into the next part of my life! I do well in a kennel if my dog friend is next to me, I walk nicely on leash, know a few tricks, and do the best full body wiggle when I see you! Do I sound like the buddy for you?! Hello! Maverick has been my great companion since early 2015. I got him in Indiana as a pure catahoula, (he just got both recessive genes and isn’t brindle). I have been able to find support and keep him with me throughout my career in the Navy but unfortunately the navy if putting me in areas where I cannot take him anymore. I have him with a good friend but their situation has changed as well recently and I have to find a good loving home for him to live his best life. He is currently in the Denver area

Lulu was found as a very young puppy roaming the streets of south Texas. She was so excited to finally run into a woman kind enough to offer her food. Lulu didn't know it yet but that day would mark the start to a new life for Lulu. Although the woman wasn't quite sure what she would do with such a young puppy she knew anything was better than the life she'd been given to start with. Lulus finder helped Lulu learn how to become a dog. She taught her leash manners and how to make other doggy/kitty friends. Lulu had the best foster home because they were patient and understanding. The finder knew their time together would determine the rest of her life so she vowed to make every moment count. Lulu loved going on adventures thanks to her foster mom. She's waited nearly a year to find rescue placement because of how full everyone was. The finder couldn't bare to see Lulu be in a shelter where she would be euthanized so she advocated for her until she found our rescue. We were inspired by Lulus story , we know Lulu has the perfect home waiting to embrace her and all her Quirks. She is the sweetest dog and needs a home with tons of love and affection. Lulus list of demands is to have a furry friend she can play with even if that means being able to just go to the dog park to meet those furry friends. Lulu needs a yard , she is young and loves to play. If you don't have a yard don't let that stop you from applying Lulu said as long as she gets to go on walks she's okay with that to! Lulu is waiting for the perfect home . Could that be you ? Lulu is available to be transported to us this Saturday! 9/14/24 but she must have and adopter or foster to adopt applicant to be transported.
