She’s been with us since she was a kitten and is a sweet, playful girl who loves string toys, catnip, and snuggling in bed during winter. Juno adores our kids—our 9-year-old may be her favorite human! While she’s happy in our home office, she struggles with our two younger cats. She would thrive as the only cat in a loving home where she can enjoy attention on her terms and all the cozy spots she deserves. Juno is currently on fluoxetine for stress but could likely be weaned off in a calm, single-cat home under a vet’s guidance. We love her dearly and will only rehome her if we find the perfect fit. Meet Lucca Lucca is our gorgeous grey tabby and white little lad. He is 4 months young with the playful flare of a kitten and the sweetest personality! Looking for a loyal companion? Lucca is a cerebellar hypoplasia kitten also known as a wobbly cat. Lucca is a warrior, and he does not know he's any different than his siblings. Lucca has the strength to walk, eat, and manage most functions but struggles with balance and coordination. This condition is one of the most common nervous system disorders in cats. It's caused by the underdevelopment of a vital part of the brain. The cerebellum is the part of the brain that regulates the positioning of the trunk and the strength and direction of limb movements. Cerebellar hypoplasia is a nonprogressive disorder. Lucca was born with cerebellar damage, but the disorder will not get worse as he ages. You may even notice that he gets better at walking, eating, and other functions with age. Since the disorder isn't progressive, Lucca has the same life expectancy as any other cat.
