Available May 5, 2025. Meet our sweet Libby. Libby came to Misfit after being found on a farm with old, untreated injuries, including her eye. She was skinny and nervous, but also wanted affection and steadily learned to trust her rescuers. While Libby might take a little time to get used to new people and situations, when she settles in, she blossoms into a sweet and playful girl. She loves belly rubs and will roll right over for scratches. She has recently discovered how nice laps are and curls up next to her foster mom for attention. Libby also likes to play and is really good about entertaining herself solo. She loves mousie toys and pom poms and will happily occupy herself chasing them around. Libby’s favorite thing is wet food and treats and don’t worry - she won’t let you forget breakfast time. She politely waits outside her foster mom’s room each morning to show her to the food bowl. A Churu treat goes a long way in earning Libby’s friendship. Libby has been in foster with other cats and while she can coexist with them, we think she would be perfectly happy as a solo. When she is with other cats, she is assertive and a little bossy. Libby will need an adopter that understands she may take some time to grow comfortable in her new home and show her true happy and affectionate personality.
