This is sweet Sahara! I found her at a vacant farmhouse. She was very obviously left behind. She was starving, extremely skinny, and followed me, begging for food. I could not bear to leave her, so I scooped her up in the hopes of finding her a good home. Sahara is a very good girl, uses the litter box perfectly, lets me trim her nails every 2 weeks, eats well and is happy and healthy. She is very smart and very playful. She has the cutest language and will chat with you. This girl needs a great home! Preference will be given to homes that feed balanced raw or wet (canned) food and that understand how to keep animals healthy. She's only still available because this website keeps deactivating her profile.

This is sweet Angel. She is a very petite little kitty that I found living outdoors at a vacant farmhouse. She was definitely not feral, but she was very skittish around humans. She was cold and starving, and I was able to capture her in the hopes of finding her a good home. She had obviously been litter trained at some point, so I'm not sure how she got to be living out in the cold. I've earned her trust and her personality has now come out. She is the sweetest, most gentle and darling little girl who just loves to be around her person! She is playful and sweet, uses the scratching pads and litter boxes. Loves to be held or carried around! She would do best in a calmer home without dogs or small children. Other friendly cats would be ok. Preference will be given to homes that feed balanced raw or wet (canned) food and that understand that health doesn't come from shots. Pets are not pincushions. She is only still available because this website keeps deactivating her profile.

Puck spent time in foster while here at HAWS, here are some notes from his foster paw-rent! Puck is a laid-back, quiet gentleman who truly knows how to enjoy the simple comforts in life. He doesn’t need a big home to run in or keep him entertained —just cozy places to lounge, nap, and watch the world go by. He’s happy to hop onto a sofa or chair, and with pet steps he absolutely loved curling up on the bed. Puck is wonderfully expressive and communicates in the sweetest ways—soft chirps, gentle tail swishes, and clear body language that lets you know when he’s in the mood for pets or when he’d rather relax and bird-watch on his own. He loved curling up beside on the bed at night and would lay on his back and show me his little heart spot. He also takes life’s little routines in stride. Medicine time was as simple as a shake of the dry food cup, a quick dose, and then his well-earned meal—an exchange he seemed perfectly content with. Puck appreciates creature comforts like clumping litter, somewhat elevated food bowls, and easy access to his favorite spots, and once those needs are met, he’s a very happy cat. Puck is easy to provide contentment for and was an absolute joy to foster.
