DOB 7/15/17 – Lottie22 has quite the personality! Her tail is always switching, whether she’s happy and purring or a little irritated. Lottie22 loves the little toy mice that rattle and will play “bat the mouse” over and over again. She loves food, she hasn’t met a can of wet food that she wouldn’t eat. She lets you know when you are late with her breakfast or dinner, meowing in her “it’s time to eat” voice. Lottie22 is very talkative. She enjoys being petted and brushed for a while, but she will let you know when she has had enough. She will allow you to pick her up, not that she likes it very much! In the time she has been in foster care, she never scratched her foster mommy. She can be very sweet and she craves attention. She will need time to adjust to her surroundings, but feel that she will adjust pretty quickly. She must be in a house where she is the only cat.

DOB 5/11/22 - Denali is an active, curious, smart and playful cat looking for a home where she can take her time adapting to her new people and surroundings. She loves playing with other cats and the ideal home for her would have another playful young cat or possibly a dog (she did see a dog in foster care, but was not exposed directly to dogs in foster). She isn't too interested in being pet by humans yet, and will swat with claws if you touch her when she doesn't want to be touched. She isn't a hider and you will see her out and about nearby, but she definitely isn't a lap cat. She has potential for warming up to getting attention from people more when she is comfortable, but will definitely take time. Loves to play with the laser light and wand toys. Loves wet food. Can be a talker. Denali22 needs to be adopted with Alpine22 - they comfort each other.

Story

I am a very sweet girl. I like my daily routine and I do sleep a lot. I have lost some weight while in foster care, but my veterinarian suggests I try to lose a little bit more. I am a very quiet cat and enjoy long naps in my big, comfy beds. I require special food and supplements for the remainder of my life. I am not thrilled with other cats and the big dogs that are at my foster home I could do without. Since my weight loss, I am starting to play more. I have hyperextension of my front wrist joints which make my legs look weird.
