He is a more independent kitty who likes to watch his people from afar. He can be persuaded to play with a wand toy once he is comfortable. He has a great time carrying around little stuffies or batting around a poof ball too! Play time and lots of treats are the way to this boy's heart. Over Easy loves to sneak from hiding spot to hiding spot while he explores his domain. When he is more relaxed, he comfortably curls up in a warm and soft kitty bed. In addition to his bed, Over Easy would love a cat tower to climb and snooze in. Over Easy loves other kitties and having a cat companion will help him adjust to his new home. Over Easy is a shy little man who is looking for his very own forever home with a patient, understanding, and loving family to call his own. He may be a bit unsure at first and will need some time to adjust in a new home, but once he does he is a sweet, low-key, and calm kitty who doesn't ask for much other than a cozy bed and a few toys to bat around. He absolutely adores pets - especially head scratches - from his favorite people and enjoys lounging right next to them. While he isn't a fan of being pick up or being overly handled, he is a loyal kitty who will follow you around just to check out what you are up to. He does occasionally get the urge to explore his surroundings and chase around his toys but most days you will find this laid back kitty cozied up in a warm bed or next to a sunny window. Over Easy is a very shy guy who is still working on his socialization skills and while he's made a lot of progress he does still startle very easily at times. So, he is looking for a bit of a calmer and quieter home with respectful older children at least 8 years of age or older who understand he may prefer his space at times. He previously lived in a home with several other cats and currently resides in a communal living area here at the shelter with some of his feline friends who he relies on heavily for comfort. Since he is much more confident with them by his side, he is required to go to a home with another kitty companion. He may do ok with calmer and respectful dogs in the house given slow and proper introductions to one another as well as having his own 'safe' space to hang out in should he get stressed out. Floralia is a 8 month old spayed female. She is current on her vaccinations and microchipped! Meet Floralia! This golden-eyed gal is looking for a home that checks all her boxes: mellow, low-traffic home with a kitty friend and some fun toys! She's lived with other super active kitties and felt overrun as they were stealing all her shine, so a low-key home is where she'd show her best self off. She loves to brush up against you and just be pet in general and will reward you with a heartwarming purr. This sweetie also loves a good wet food snack and some fun wand toys and laser lights! Because she can be shy and uncertain in new environments, for the first couple of days we recommend a confined, secluded area to decompress from the big lifestyle changes she is about to endure, this will help both you and her in the long run develop a better and more positive relationship initially! Floralia has grown up in foster care with his littermates and finds so much comfort with a feline friend, so we do require another calm cat in the home so she can continue to grow up confident and be able to exhibit natural feline behaviors in a productive and healthy way. Egg Nog is a petite little man who can't wait to find his special someone who will given him the time he deserves while adjusting in a new home. While he may be shy and reserved at first, he will slowly start to show you his demure and adorable personality as he gets more comfortable with his surroundings. He does enjoy gentle pets from his favorite people and he will even follow you around to check out what you are up to. While he is a mostly mellow man, he is still a young kitty at heart and does enjoy chasing around his toys from time to time or hopping to and from anything high when he gets the zoomies! Olive is a 5-month-old female, she is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines. Meet Olive! Olive may take a little time to warm up in her new forever home, but once she does, she is a total lover! Below are some words from Olive's foster mom ***Olive likes to snuggle me in bed and on the couch. Is walking about with my cats and if the cats hiss at her she just sits there instead of running away. Loves to play, loves her brother, and likes sitting in the window and looking outside. She is also very soft!!!*** Olive would do best in a home with children over 5 years old and would appreciate another cat in her new home. She would not appreciate any high-energy dogs in her new home as she can still startle easily. We require that if there is a dog in Olive's new home that it is a cat-savvy, calm dog who will respect that she may not want to be friends right away. When she isn't stealing hair ties she's taking naps in a dog bed 5x her size. She's been an interesting one as she is very comfortable with us and loves laying by and playing with humans she just isn't a fan of being pet. She'll tolerate it but does not seek it out which is new for us. We're used to scared kitties who eventually warm up but she isn't scared just indeferent. She adores our cat and is a big fan of watching out our screen door with her." Meet Saskia! Saskia is a spunky and petite little lady who is ready for her next big adventure - finding her loving forever home! She is a confident girl who will need some time to adjust in her new home as she was quite nervous and unsure when first arriving at the shelter. After she's had some time to adjust to her surroundings, she is a typical goofy, energetic, and adventurous older kitten who is always on the go and will surely provide lots of entertainment for her new family. She enjoys exploring her surroundings, chasing around her toys, climbing up and down her cat tree, and playing with her companions. Saskia is a gorgeous girl who enjoys the company of her favorite people but she is still working on her socialization skills. So, she would do best in a home with a cat savvy family who can help her improve on her people skills and understand her cues when she gets overwhelmed. She did live with several other cats in a communal living area at the shelter of whom she did ok with as long as they matched her energetic personality and over tenacious play style. Verity is a sweet but very shy lady who is waiting to find a loving and patient forever family who can help her continue to come out of her shell. She will need some time to adjust in a new home but once she starts to become comfortable with her surroundings, her sweet personality will begin to emerge. She does like gentle pets from her favorite people once she gets a chance to know you - and the quickest way to earn her trust is with lots of yummy treats as she LOVES her food! Once she has adjusted, she is an active, playful, and goofy young lady who enjoys chasing around her toys, exploring her surroundings, and playing with other kitties. Verity is a sweet girl who does best in a calmer environment with humans who understand that she may need some time to adjust in a new home and does prefer her space at times when she gets stressed out.
