Story
Muffin Top here is a timid girl, looking for a quiet home to settle down in. She was brought here because she was stressed out by a baby in her previous home, she just wants a quiet and calm place so children in the home may stress her out. She can be playful at times, and enjoys crinkle balls and laser pointers. She isn't a huge fan of catnip though! Muffin Top previously lived with a cat and coexisted well. If you are a patient person who is okay with a sweet shy kitty, she may be the one for you!Meet Muffin Top at out shelter during public visiting hours (no appointment needed), Tues/Thurs/Fri 1-6pm or Sat 11am-3pm, or visit www.oahs.org/cat-adoption-process for more information about how to adopt. All adoptable cats from OAHS are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested for feline leukemia, litterbox trained and microchipped.

Story
Jyn here is a very special girl, and our longest term cat resident here at OAHS. Jyn resides in our administrative offices, and likes to supervise and keep everyone on track. She has a very special place in the hearts of many of our staff. Jyn has quite the fiery spirit, she has very strong boundaries and will enforce them. She has her favorite people that she will follow around the offices and even likes to help out with paperwork and phone calls! She has even been seen laying on her favorite people's laps, and pushing herself right into their faces to get attention. Toys are really fun for Jyn, especially laser pointers and toy mice. Jyn takes extra time to adjust to new situations and people, and is on a medication to help her deal with the stress of the shelter (which she can be transitioned off of once she is adopted). Jyn is a queen and needs to be the only pet in the home, she doesn't want to share your attention. If you are someone who doesn't mind a diva cat who can be a bit spicy, consider adopting Jyn! She would be an absolutely perfect helper if you have a home office. :) Meet Jyn at out shelter during public visiting hours (no appointment needed), Tues/Thurs/Fri 1-6pm or Sat 11am-3pm, or visit www.oahs.org/cat-adoption-process for more information about how to adopt. All adoptable cats at OAHS are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested for feline leukemia, litterbox trained and microchipped.

Story
Hello, I'm Wiggles. I've had a rough time throughout the years, going from a shelter, a home, and then back to another shelter. My life has been very secluded, so adjusting to new places is hard for me. It takes me awhile to trust people and realize that they're okay. I made a few friends here at OAHS but I only love one to two people. Loud noises and feet scare me so sometimes I yell when I'm really scared. But when I'm comfortable and realize you're a safe person I just want to be by you or in your lap. In my foster home I like to watch the birds and play. It took me awhile to adjust to another new home again but I'm slowly getting there. My foster mom was really patient with me when I got scared and yelled at her. I would really like a quiet home of my own, where my people will have patience and love me the way I am.My ideal home- Will respect my boundaries- Will give me space to be myself - Does not have other pets or young childrenContact our cat team at 920-424-2128 ext.106 or cat@oahs.org for more information about how to adopt this adorable sweetheart! All adoptable cats from OAHS are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested for feline leukemia, litterbox trained and microchipped.

Story
This is Lettie,Lettie is a vibrant personality who is looking for just the right person to welcome her into their hearts. She arrived at OAHS with a handful of kittens she was able to raise in foster, and now that she's settling into shelter life we've learned a lot about her. Lettie is bonkers, she launches herself off her condo shelves and ricochets around until she finally dives under her bed. She can co-exist with the right cat friend but we have her in her own condo for a very unique reason- Lettie is still learning how to manage her strong feelings and acting out on impulsive thoughts. Lettie needs an experienced home who can both enjoy her goofy playful side, as well as her attitude. If you're interested in adopting Lettie, we encourage you to stop by our shelter during our open hours to meet her and take a peek at her or any of our available feline friends to see if they're a good match for you and your home. Or reach out to the cat team at cat@oahs.org or give us a call at 920-424-2128 ext 106All cats at OAHS are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia, as well as behaviorally and medically monitored by the staff at the shelter to ensure they're ready to get into their new home.
