Story
Meet Oatmeal, a sweet kitty who simply isn’t suited for shelter life. Unfortunately, he’s been fearful and stressed during his time with us, despite our best efforts to comfort him. Recently transferred from another animal care facility, we believe these transitions have been especially tough on Oatmeal. Oatmeal is currently in foster care to help manage his stress from the shelter environment. While it’s been a challenge to fully understand his personality here, we’re confident that with time, patience, and plenty of TLC, he will come out of his shell and become a wonderful companion in the right environment. Oatmeal would thrive in a calm, quiet household, and would do best in a home without dogs or young children. Do you have space in your home and heart for Oatmeal? All adoptable cats from OAHS are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested for feline leukemia, litterbox trained and microchipped.

Story
Meet Nimbus, a sweet boy who is a bit of a scaredy cat. Nimbus came here to the shelter with two other cats and is quite timid in the shelter environment. The previous owners described Nimbus to prefer things on his own terms. He likes to watch cat tv and play with toys! Nimbus is playful and affectionate when he is comfortable, though he is not a huge fan of being picked up.Nimbus has been around children in his previous home and did well, though he will need a family that can be patient with him while he is adjusting. He lived with 2 other cats and seemed to really enjoy their company, so he would benefit from a cat friend in his home.· Affectionate boy who prefers things on his own terms· Previously did well in a home with respectful children· Likes the company of other catsMeet Nimbus at our shelter during public visiting hours (no appointment needed), Tues/Thurs/Fri 1-6pm or Sat 11am-3pm, or visit www.oahs.org/cat-adoption-process for more information about how to adopt. All adoptable cats from OAHS are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested for feline leukemia, litterbox trained and microchipped.

Story
Say hello to Jack! This handsome boy is 6 years old and ready to play. Jack is friendly and outgoing, with lots of energy and excitement to add to your life! A weird quirk about this silly feline is that he is obsessed with food! He will actually scarf down food in seconds, so he definitely would benefit from a slow feeder in his forever home. Jack would do best as your only cat, mostly because he would eat all of their food! Aside from his hangriness, Jack is a wonderful cat that would be a great addition to your family.Meet Jack at our shelter during public visiting hours (no appointment needed), Tues/Thurs/Fri 1-6pm or Sat 11am-3pm, or visit www.oahs.org/cat-adoption-process for more information about how to adopt. All adoptable cats from OAHS are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested for feline leukemia, litterbox trained and microchipped.
