Jyn here is a very special girl, and our longest term cat resident here at OAHS. Jyn resides in our administrative offices, and likes to supervise and keep everyone on track. She has a very special place in the hearts of many of our staff. Jyn has quite the fiery spirit, she has very strong boundaries and will enforce them. She has her favorite people that she will follow around the offices and even likes to help out with paperwork and phone calls! She has even been seen laying on her favorite people`s laps, and pushing herself right into their faces to get attention. Toys are really fun for Jyn, especially laser pointers and toy mice. Jyn is a queen and needs to be the only cat in the home, she doesn`t want to share your attention. Jyn may do well with a respectful dog since she has been getting along with a dog who visits her here at OAHS! If you are someone who doesn`t mind a diva cat who can be a bit spicy, consider adopting Jyn! This is Sasparilla. She came into the shelter with her sister Sophie Jo, though they would do best in separate homes in their next chapters in life.Sophie and Sasparilla grew up together under the watchful care of a very caring individual who would love to be able to keep their friends forever. Unfortunately, life has many unexpected twists and turns, and despite what we hope we`re not always able to see our favorite moments through to the end. Sophie Jo and Sasparilla have had a rough start getting acclimated to shelter life. They have had to learn new routines, and to trust strangers. Their whole world is turned around and they`re looking for a special place to settle back in and spend the next half of their life.Sasparilla takes a lot of time to adjust to new things, so she will need a quiet and patient home that is willing to do things at her pace. When she is comfortable she is a chatty girl who has a fun personality! She loves being up high and watching everything going on below.It is important to know that Sasparilla would do best in a quiet home without any other pets, or young children.
