Meet Ben & Jerry! They spent the first ~5 years living on the streets until previously adopted in April 2022. These former outdoorsmen now enjoy the luxuries of indoor living. They are looking for a patient owner because they are still being socialized, but they have come a long way in the last 2 1/2 years! They are two peas in a pod who love to snuggle and play together and will do just about anything for a snack. They love sitting on shoes, chasing wand toys, rolling in catnip, and running around at night. During the day you can usually find them sleeping in their beds or lounging by the window. They are very low maintenance on a day-to-day basis, independent, and didn’t seem to mind when their previous adopter was traveling. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, dewormed, FELV tested, microchipped, receive prevention while in our care, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Sarah is affectionate and skittish. She is afraid of my English setter. I’m not sure if she gets along with dogs because she doesn’t fight with Annie. She just runs from her. Sarah is chased by my male cat, Woody. She doesn’t stand her ground. She might get along with other cats but it might be best if she could be the only cat in the household. Sarah was my mom‘s cat for five years until March of this year. I have been trying to give Sarah and my cat, Woody, time to adjust to each other, but it’s not working out. It’s really not fair to Sarah to be chased all the time. Sarah was having litter box issues. I started using sWheat litter and feeding her a purina urinary diet and she isn’t having any problems anymore.
