Binx deserves a second chance at life! This handsome fella is 7 years old and we hope he turns 8 in his furever home.Binx was brought in as a stray over a year ago with all kinds of inner and outer battle scars from surviving on the streets. The staff and volunteers at ACHS have given him the time, patience and love he needed to learn to trust again. Binx can easily get overstimulated if you don`t pay attention to his vibes. He must be respected and approached on his terms. The effort it takes to connect with Binx is well worth it - Binx is an affectionate lover-boy at heart!Binx will do best in a quiet home with no children under the age of 12. He loves to play and watch the birds at the birdfeeder. Binx gets along with other cats as long as they leave him alone. He`s not aggressive but does need his space. He`s a senior gentleman who is very laid back and loves naps, cuddles, and hugs. He hates it when you stop petting him. If you have room in your heart and home for Binx, please read the ACHS adoption requirements and complete an online application. Thank you!

She started out as a terrified and protective mother of three, but with kind encouragement from our volunteers and staff, she has become quite the sweet little lady. She is a very quiet girl, preferring the comfort of a space with minimal noise and the kindness of someone with a gentle pet and some good kitty treats on hand. This gorgeous gal is ready to retire from parenthood into a peaceful home where she can get some much needed rest. Ethyl came to us as a mother and surrogate over the summer and has helped rear at least 10 kittens, most of whom were from fragmented litters. She does well with other cats and prefers the company of the more mellow kitties at the shelter. While she enjoys playing from time to time, she is definitely more of a couch potato and would prefer gentle pets and a good nap to the ruckus of toys.If you are interested in meeting Ethyl or any of the wonderful animals in our shelter, please submit an adoption application on our website.
