Dillinger is a sweet young man around 4 years old who is ready to find his furever home. He was brought to the shelter as a stray in early April and upon intake tested positive for FIV. Dillinger would be much safer as the only cat in the home or with other cats with FIV. This sweet boy just loves attention, and he will purr very loud to show you that he enjoys it. He loves to walk through your legs and under your hands, pushing every part of his body against yours in hopes he will get pet, scratched or just loved up on in any way. Dillinger makes very expressive faces, like sticking out his tongue! He also has the most perfect placement of the black and white coloring all around his body that give him a very special look. His eyes are very bright and bold yellow-green and with his signature left ear tip, Dillinger is a very unique looking boy! If you're looking for a cat who will cuddle with you and always want your attention, Dillinger could be the sweet boy up for the task!

Buzz Lightyear came to us in March with A LOT of other friends. At one time, he was very shy and nervous and found it hard to approach anyone. He would hide in his kennel and avoid human contact. Now months later, he has been adjusting better to his situation and has come out of his shell so much! It's a beautiful thing to see such a transformation! Now, Buzz Lightyear loves to get attention! He will rub against your hands and roll over for a quick belly rub before jumping back up and pushing under your hand again. He will purr very gently as he gets pet. He loves treats and will take them gently out of your hand. He is a very relaxed cat! He doesn't seem to mind most cats here at the shelter as well. He still has slight shyness to new faces but once he warms up, he loves all the attention. We are still working on picking him up. He doesn't mind it as much as he used to. At one time, it was a difficult task to pick him up. Now, he might let you hang onto him for a couple seconds before gently jumping off of you to either his kennel or the floor. Buzz Lightyear just needs a human he can build a bond with and learn to trust. Once he is comfortable with someone, they'll have a furry friend for life! Meet Kitty! Kitty was surrendered to HSCC in early May in hopes of a better life. Kitty is a sweet girl who has really come out of her shell. She was very shy at one point and would hide in the back of her kennel. Slowly but surely, she continues to warm up to people day after day. Unfortunately, Kitty is not a big fan of other cats. She would most likely be her best self in a home with just her humans, where she can get all the love and attention she deserves. This girl is a perfect mix of playful cat and lazy cat all in one.
