Story
Dewey was received as a kitten in November 2021 from the SPCA. He was a companion for my then 80 year old father when my mother passed away. My Dad has since developed allergies and it is in the best interest of my Dad's health to rehome Dewey.

Story
Judy is a sweet seven-year-old cat. She was adopted with her brother ant 8 weeks.Amanda Robideau sent us here. We are attempting to rehome Judy because there is a rivalry between her and her brother causing them to urinate in our home. It’s been going on for a long time. We have tried EVERYTHING for 7 years including: painting floors to remove smell, blocking them from rooms, having 4 litter boxes, vet checks for UTI, pheromones. The vet has approved euthanasia but we want her to have a chance with another family. After talking to a behavioral specialist, they believe this behavior will stop once they are separated. Judy gets along with dogs and cats (just not her brother). She is great with kids and is very sweet. She has never bitten or scratched us. She allows us to hold her. Judy prefers being inside and outside. The problem is significant enough that we have set an end date at 12/16/24 with the vet. We do NOT want to go that route. Please consider fostering or adopting.

Story
Meet Phoenix. This little girl was found on the road and her finder thought she had been hit by a car and killed. He was going to pick her up to bury her when she stood up. Phoenix had some trauma to her face and was limping but x-rays didn't show any broken bones. After some antibiotics and a lot of rest this girl has risen up to show that indoor kitty life will be best for her. She can be a little shy at first but she has settled in well in her foster home and loves to play with their other cat. She is in a foster home with a dog too. We estimate her date of birth to be around the beginning of Marcg 2024. Phoenix is now spayed, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for Feluk/FIV and is litterbox trained. Her adoption fee is $50.00. If you are interested in adopting Phoenix,  please visit our website www.lharinc.org go to Adopt and complete the cat adoption application today! ##2107869##
