Edgar and his brothers were found all on their own and in need of some love and care. But despite being extremely spicy initially, they all soon realized that they were destined to enjoy the finer offerings of indoor living. Fast forward to now, and Edgar is the first thing you hear when you walk into a room. His pur is loud and smile inducing, and his long, lanky limbs are outright adorable. His ears are almost too big for his head, and all around he's just a silly guy. Similar to his brother Barry, Edgar is still a little nervous about pets and being held. He does, however, absolutely love to play with his stick toys, and is extremely motivated for treats. He'll crawl right into your lap for a squeeze treat, and allows you to pet him as long as you keep the good stuff coming. Ideally, Edgar will have a home with another confident cat who can help him come out of his shell. He loves his brothers, and enjoys companionship. He also would do well with a human who is patient and understanding of his somewhat shy demeanor. Barry, or "Care Bear" as his foster affectionately calls him, is a sweet but timid guy who would love to win your heart over. He was found with his two brothers, and lived a very rough and tough life outdoors before being rescued. He has come such a long way since his feral kitten days and needs someone patient, loving and willing to allow him to continue to come out of his shell. He is extremely playful, and happily plays solo with his favorite stuffed mice. However, he also loves to watch carefully over his brothers play, and often acts as the moderator and big brother of the group. He would do so well with another confident sibling to help him continue to flourish and boost his confidence. He's still not sure about being pet or held just yet, but will come and sit next to you while you do chores. Hi! My name is Nutmeg and I am a beautiful 1 year old tabby with beautiful multi-colored eyes. I came to Paws when my owner could no longer take care of me. I used to live with my mom and brother, so I was really nervous when I first got here. After a week or 2 of being shy, I have realized life isn’t too bad in my foster home! I have a really nice foster mom. I love to follow her around bugging her til she pets and scratches me. I am very playful and will play on my own or enjoy interactive toys with my foster mom - if you have toys with strings I will love you! My absolute favorite thing to do is sit and watch the birds outside the window! So if you have a window for me I would be soooo happy! Because I am a little timid at times, I think I would prefer to be in a home without very small children. I seem to be doing ok with the other kitties in my foster home so I could probably get along with another kitty with proper introduction.
