Story

Tater is a beautiful, friendly, tabby girl who has gorgeous tabby markings and soulful eyes. She was adopted from the rescue in January of 2020 as a kitten and returned recently due to a new baby being allergic. Tater is a very sweet kitty who is on the shy side until she feels comfortable. Once adjusted, let the petting begin! She enjoys being petted and does not mind being held for short periods of time. She gets along with the other cats in her foster home, but is intimidated by cats that have dominate personalities. Her foster mom knows once she gets her own home again, her true personality will shine. Her ideal home would be on the quieter side with no young children. Older, respectful children should be fine. Tater is almost 3 years old ( as of 7/ 2022), spayed, up to date on vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV.

Story

Introducing Piper Piper is a very handsome kitty with a big personality. He is a confident guy who loves to explore new things and places. He warms up quickly to new people, loves to be petted and does not mind being held as long as he is not busy exploring. Piper had a rough start to his life battling upper respiratory infections. He is now healthy but will have periodic sneezing episodes but as he is getting older they are becoming less frequent. Piper loves to play with toys and the other kitties in his foster home. His foster mom says Piper can be very entertaining at times and tries to help you with what you are doing. Piper can be a busy boy so he will need a feline friend to play with to keep him entertained. Once tired out Piper will settle in for some snuggle time. He also will give "love bites " at times so we feel no small children would be best, older respectful children are fine. He never breaks your skin but could scare the younger children. Story

Keegan is very handsome orange tabby boy with gorgeous green eyes. He was originally TNR'd but it became apparent shortly after he was released that he wanted to be an indoor cat. Keegan started running into any open door in the neighborhood that he could get through. Not long after being released Keegan showed up with a very swollen ear which looked extremely painful. The neighbors reached out to the rescue for help. How could we say no to that adorable face. Keegan was relieved to be indoors and getting help for his painful ear. He was taken to the vet immediately where he had surgery for an ear hematoma. Keegan did well with the surgery and was such a trooper wearing the e collar for 3 weeks. He must of been someone's pet before since he is such a friendly kitty. He loves to be petted and does not mind being held. He gets along with the other cats but is definitely not a fan of dogs. He possibly had a bad encounter with a dog during his time outdoors. We will never know what Keegan dealt with in his time outdoors but we feel it was not pleasant...He would do best in a home without small children and without dogs. Keegan is about 3 years old( as of 3/1/2388, up to date on vaccinations, neutered and negative for FIV and FeLV.

FIP SURVIVOR ALERT! We know many people are familiar with Pringle's journey, but here is a recap if you are new here. Pringle's life has been riddled with bad luck, but he is a fighter! He lost his mom and siblings at 3 weeks of age due to an unknown illness/disease. At 5 weeks, he suffered a dog bite to his face (which was stitched up and healed well) when he escaped his quarantine room to look for a playmate. Then at 8 weeks his Feline Leukemia test showed faintly positive which resulted in a longer quarantine and more tests. At 4 months old, he was neutered and tested negative for FeLV. We were hopeful he could finally socialize with other cats and find a forever home. In the days following surgery, Pringle began rapidly declining and we were preparing for the worst. Tests ruled out several possibilities and he was diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). We can happily report that he is officially declared FIP CURED following his one year blood work result after treatment. With so much bad in his life, there can only be good from here! Pringle is an adorable 1 year old boy. He is curious of the world around him and is often the first to explore a new object or room. Pringle loves to play with any dangly string--be it a shoelace or hoodie string! Even more enticing to him are moving feet and hands under a blanket. Pringle often prefers the companionship of humans over felines and does not have the best catiquette because he was isolated for so long due to his illnesses. He loves getting pets on his head and can be such a snuggle bug. Pringle has the tiniest meow when he greets his foster dad at the end of a long work day. Pringle gets a lot of kisses because we just can't resist his big, round eyes. He is also our favorite meme cat. We often create comparisons of his pictures because he is so photogenic and silly! Although Pringle is the most adorable and loving cat, Pringle has developed some cattitude because he was a single kitten for a very long time. He gets overstimulated easily by rowdy cats and people and can get mouthy when pushed to his limit. For this reason, we think the perfect home is a calm household with adults only who are cat savvy and understand his body language. Pringle is neutered, negative for FIV and FeLV, and updated on all his vaccines. This sleek female kitten is Licorice. She is playful and friendly and enjoys attention from her foster mom. She is currently learning that being held can be fun, and she loves to give head butts and kisses. She has discovered that a warm lap is comfortable and she loves watching birds from the security of a cat tree. One notable feature about her is that she has wonky whiskers. On one side of her face she has two long white whiskers. On the other side she has the usual, thinner black whiskers. This gives her an interesting and unusual look. She loves a wand toy, and especially likes playing with her foster buddy, Brulee. She gets along with other cats, so she would love to have a feline friend in her adoptive home. Licorice is about 8 months old, as of 4/20/24, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and negative for FIV & FeLV.

Beautiful Brûlée is looking for a home! This gorgeous black female with big round eyes is Brûlée . She loves to play and is full of kitten energy and mischief. 😽 She gets along well with other cats in her foster home, and runs full speed up and down a cat tree. 😻 When she is exhausted from playing, Brûlée loves to rest on a lap where she welcomes pets and chin scratches. When she is very relaxed and being petted, she rewards her foster mom with a loud purr and drool! 💦 Speaking of purring, we asked our vet to check out what sounded like a cough when Brûlée purred. After a CT scan our vet saw a small shadow behind her soft palate which is likely a small polyp. The foster mom has not heard the coughing sound for over a month at this point, and it might never come back or become an issue. The good news is that if it does become worse to the point that she needs to have it removed, our vet will do the surgery. In the meantime, this playful beauty is looking for a home where she can romp and have some lap time! 🐈‍⬛💕She loves a wand toy, and especially likes playing with her foster buddy, Licorice (scroll back on our page to learn more about Licorice). She gets along with other cats, so she would love to have a feline friend in her adoptive home. Brûlée is about 10 months old, as of 6/2024, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and negative for FIV & FeLV.
