Story
PLEASE... we can't keep her anymore and I really don't know what to do. We need to find a new home for this sweet girl. Family circumstances require us to find her a place that will love her. She is super sweet and loves purring and sitting on your lap and giving night time snuggles. I'm not sure to increase or decrease the amount of money for her...lol. She is such a sweet cat. Someone can love her and give her a wonderful life ...

Story
Gingersnap came to us with a very common and heartbreaking sad situation as a stray that landed in a kill shelter in Tennessee.   This beautiful girl was so terrified and despite that the shelter staff knew she  had a sweet spirit about her.   The shelter could have adopted her out because she is FIV positive.  Her way out alive was if she was to leave  with a reputable rescue that knew how to place cats like her.  She is very healthy and we have learned so much about cats living long and wonderful lives even with the FIV diagnosis.  She does not care for other cats and that is fine she cannot be around cats unless they are also FIV positive.   I'm sure she could adjust with another cat but she tends to just run away from them and she hisses and growls at dogs.  She would be a wonderful cat for a quiet home with a retired couple or empty nesters who have had all the young children fly the nest.  We do suggest a quiet home with no dogs  she loves to sleep in her little Kitty bed and enjoys a simple existence where she can receive human love and attention.   If you are interested in this sweet girl please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   October 31, 2024, 2:39 pm

Story
So many stories in the rescue world about cats and they all seem to have the same start all too often and too sad.  This stunning grey tabby and white boy is called Chester, he is just barely one year of age and born to a stray momma cat.  Living outdoors all his life, his momma brought him and his littermates to a family house where she hoped to be fed and to care for her litter born outside a home.  Somehow her 4 kittens survived and here is Chester to prove that miracles can happen for these lost and forgotten mommas and their babies.  Chester is now a very handsome 13 pound boy that has been invited inside a foster home and is being given the wide berth to relax and make himself at home as a pampered and well fed adult cat.  He’s still super shy and will hide a lot under the bed, but he is starting to come out for some play time and chin scratches.  In just 4 days he has made such strides and advancements to allow toys to entice him to come out several times without fear and allow his new foster mom Joyce to pet him and given him chin rubs.  He is learning to be petted and to trust this new foster mom.  He and his littermates are all grown up but very young and they are getting better with the litterbox training and are eating with a hearty appetite.  We feel that time and patience will see Chester and his siblings stay out from under a bed or in hiding more and more as they learn they are safe and have a promise of food and love every day for the rest of their life.  If you are interested in helping Chester learn daily how to receive love and be happy with being touched, then please email us and ask to foster him or adopt him.   Please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com we are anxious to find a capable home to love him all the way. Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.  October 31, 2024, 2:39 pm

Story
Hi friends !   We are Jacob and Joshua, two buds that love to hang out and get into mischief together, nothing bad just boy stuff. We are love bugs and love attention and we will ask for it too. We love to play and then just nap in the sun. There is one thing, Joshua is FIV+, Jacob is negative. We don’t care and we hope you won’t either. Buds are Buds for life and that is all we care about. We are both healthy and will live long lives together with good food and lots of love. We promise you double everything in life.  Won’t you consider us?  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and let us know where you live. October 31, 2024, 2:39 pm

Story
Meet kitty Armondo!!!  He and his litter mates did not have the best start in life.  Their mom was a member of a feral cat colony that lived in a ravine.  People were very concerned about the little family and were finally able to trap them all.  Mom was feral.  The babies were scared but nice.  It just took a little while for them to understand that people are nice and are trying to help them.  Mom was spayed and released and the babies went to a loving foster home.  They have now all been totally vetted and are ready for their forever homes.  Armondo is a sweet but shy 12 week old kitten.  He loves to play with his siblings Leo and Amschel.  They have the biggest time running and playing.  Armondo is a polydactyl/Hemmingway kitten.  He is unique in that he has 5 toes.  It looks like he has hands.  This sweet boy is a very good boy.  It took no time at all to litter box train him.  He would love to have a home with one of his brothers.  If not though he definitely needs a home with another kitten or young cat.  He has been through too much to not have a companion.  Armondo is a special boy with the tiniest of meows.  He will be an excellent companion and addition to your family.  To be considered for his forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Armondo is currently in Tennessee but can be transported north upon adoption.)      October 31, 2024, 2:39 pm
